The food was pretty good. Being from Kansas City, I’m pretty picky about barbecue, but Rib City was better than I had expected. The only real disappointment was the BBQ Beans, which were really just baked beans without any meat. But if you’re far from home and get a barbecue craving Rib City might temporarily fit the bill.

A Culinary Delight Not to Be Missed!
My visit to Rib City was a memorable feast for the taste buds! I opted for the Full Rack of Baby Ribs and was absolutely delighted. The ribs were cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Simply divine! I also had 0.5 lb of Pulled Pork, which impressed me with its smoky flavor and melt-in-the-mouth texture.
For sides, the Garlic Toast and Fries were fresh and crispy, just as one would hope. But the standout among the sides for me was the Macintosh Cheese. Creamy, cheesy, and utterly irresistible!
To top it all off, I chose a cool cola, which was the perfect complement to the savory dishes. The atmosphere at Rib City was welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
All in all, it was a culinary highlight that I would recommend to anyone. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Christine is usually our server and she is great, so are the other servers! We love Rib City and enjoy going there, we travel 40 minutes at least once a month to visit! Food and service is always right on point!

This is why we come to rib city: crunchy fried okra, spicy ranch, ice cold bud lite and fall off the bone ribs. Super clean and excellent service. Everything you'd expect.

Been here twice in two weeks time. Proof that restaurants are having hard time getting workers as I had the very same waitress & she was only waitress !!! I am never disappointed at this restaurant...only bad thing is I have to drive so far as they closed the one in St. Pete. Baby Backs are $1.00 off on Sundays [full rack]

If you are in the South Venice area and have cravings for pork ribs, Rib City has a very delicious and tasteful pork ribs that will make your fingers lick. Good food, homely atmosphere and friendly staff ready to serve you.

Rib City is one of my all time rib abs BBQ restaurants. This location certainly lived up to the Rib City reputation. The food was outstanding and consistent with other locations.....so delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly, helpful, and efficient. Can't wait to return.
