It was great, most places have raised their prices, i haven't been there in awhile, i was so surprised to see how reasonable their prices are, and the meal was beyond good, and i couldn't believe just the amount of food i received, 2 scoops of white rice, teriyaki chicken, don't know how they can give you that much,it came with a salad, and the dressing is to die for,i could drink it,it was that good, and the salad and dressing was so fresh it was cold and fresh, i have had 2 meals out of it and was stuffed each time, also had some tempura shrimp .some of the best food i have had,you can't go wrong, its hood for you,im on dialysis and I have to be careful of what i eat i need protein and this meal is perfect. Will be back very soon

We were wanting something quick for dinner that was not McDonald’s/Taco Bell and was close to our home. We gave this place a try - getting our food to go...I selected Chicken Teriyaki with Rice/Salad. My husband selected the Beef Teriyaki Rice Bowl because it had the most “Rice” option with Egg Rolls. Our order took a little long because of the “beef” option. Overall the food was the same that can be obtained at places that serve these types of food. The egg rolls were okay but very crispy. The salad - although plain - was my favorite but needed more dressing than the little cup provided. The portion quantity is great for sharing. We will be back though since it’s local and close by and will satisfy my craving for Teriyaki.

You won’t regret it the most fresh and tasty food I have ever had. The place is relaxing, the Windows are huge so it creates this relaxing atmosphere especially when the sun comes out. The place is spotless really clean and organized. The service is amazing the people that work there are very friendly. You can instantly tell that the food is prepared and made fresh. And the prices are so worth the value that you get in each plate.

I never leave any negative reviews for restaurants even when they are mediocre tasting.. but Joy Teriyaki was beyond horrible. It was our first time ordering from them (KC Teriyaki is amazing and was closed on this day). I had the Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken teriyaki. Chicken Teriyaki was almost edible.. the Kung Pao was so over cooked. It was like eating beef jerky! And the fried rice was complete trash. It was still white with frozen veggies thrown into it (literally) . There was nothing fried about it. Maybe they had an off day? Not sure! I would never return to this place. I paid over 30 dollars for garbage. Spend your money getting frozen dinners. It will taste a lot better. Get your act together JOY TERIYAKI! People work hard for their money. Put some effort into your joke restaurant.

A great, local restaurant that continues to deliver great food and service in these challenging times. I ordered from them last night, and received this giant plate of food, in a quick and timely fashion! They continue to excel at delicious food, and I highly recommend them should you have an itch that teriyaki can only scratch.

the meals may be underwhelming visually, but the taste is good. it's clean here and very modern feeling. Favorite was the bugolgi bowl (order with a side of kim chi). mongolian beef was a little tough/chewy but good flavor and nice to have it come with vegetables. the yakisoba chicken was good. it's true the side of stir fry veggies was 90% cabbage and less other vegetables. but otherwise convenient and will eat here again!

Wish I would have read other reviews about the “stir fried veggies”. So ridiculous to have a $5.50 order of stir fried cabbage.. literally two slices of carrots, no broccoli, no zucchini, no onion. This is what you call ripping people off. Gave two stars because I do like the teriyaki chicken but still way overpriced and won’t be back.

Smaller than normal portions... They no longer have vegetable tempura so I ordered stir fried vegetables instead and what I got was cabbage for $5+. Ridiculous.
