Great service. Great coffee Kafiex coffee house is definitely a place to visit to get a kick to your morning start. I ordered the Masala Chai Latte and the Cajeta Latte. Both very good either warm or cold. The coffee tender, Jacob, being friendly and helpful when asked questions about the coffee and drinks. Highly recommended to visit.

Overpriced coffee, dry baked goods. Coffee was okay, not worth the price in my opinion. Zucchini bread was like $4-5 and stuck to the roof of your mouth it was so dry. I think it was a few days old… wouldn’t recommend this place. Go somewhere else!

I'm always happy to support local coffee shops, and Coffee Lab is a short walking distance from where I work. I will definitely be coming here during my breaks whenever I need a quick caffeine fix. I've been here twice and the employees with whom I have come into contact have been helpful to me. Also, the cafe is clean and nicely decorated. Though their selection is relatively small, they have a pretty good menu here, including a unique caffeine-free blue matcha. I would also recommend their caramel latte. They also have a few rotating pastries throughout the day that seem to be of high-quality, I've tried their lemon bread.

A few pros, a few cons, I try not to be too picky. The coffee tasted fine (americano) , but was way expensive. I can appreciate specialty coffee, don't get me wrong! However they only offer one or two small sizes, and they cost as much as a medium would elsewhere. Wish I knew that before going. When I asked if they offer drinks in 16oz, I kind of felt like people looked down their nose at me. They do use a few brewing methods not offered in most cafes so if you feel like trying a new thing, it may be worth your time. I like the store set up and it was nice to sit in--when it is calm. However, the line crowds some of the tables when it is busy, and I felt a little encroached on. They might do better in a larger space for that reason, not the best if you are with a big group. Check it out at a slow time if you're going for the first time.

Cool little specialty coffee shop. You walk in and just feel like they know what they are doing 😊. The barista was super friendly. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. Didn't have it but the guy in front said the breakfast sandwiches are the best!

Kafiex is great. Their coffee is legit and the food is on point. Great atmosphere at both locations and masks are optional. Happy to see that people get to make their own choice in that regard. Keep up the good work!

The decaf blue chai is excellent. But the customer service is not the best. And their business hours make no sense. They close at 5pm on weekends. And they serve alcoholic beverages. Seriously?

Great coffee! Both of the girls there were very friendly and helpful! They have lots of outdoor seating, and some under a canopy too. The cajeta (goat milk dulce de leche) latte was balanced just right, and the normal latte my mom got was great as well. FYI, if you prefer less fruity coffees I would mention it. They only do classic sizes. They also do pour-overs and siphon coffee (very cool). The bakery is absolutely oustanding!! Shown is a (vegan) oatmeal cookie that was simply amazing. On the shelf they have turmeric honey drinks, 1 decaf and 3-4 choices of coffee roast/blends, and a chai blend (just 7g of sugar :D). They also have a great collection of books to read while there. Its the perfect location too, Esther Short Park right next to it has many places to walk and sit, or go down to the waterfront. Another note of detail - the shop and designs are beautiful. I really like the blue recurring print with various coffee devices, it would make great wrapping paper on the holidays. The design of their coffee bags are some of my favorites, and the valve does not get in the way when you roll it up (pet peeve of mine). Update: The siphon brewing is really cool to watch, and the resulting coffee(using the three amigos blend) was very clean and bold. The oatmeal bar is sweet and 'indulgent', and the biscuit my mom got was perfectly delicate with a slight bit of rosemary. Still a great shop!
