I ordered chicken with black bean sauce. The flavor is pretty good but it's basically water with chipped up beans in it. I'm used to it being a thick sauce. The chow mein had some crispy noodles on the side and was just chicken with a million bean sprouts.

Discovered this restaurant a couple of years ago while driving around the neighborhood and was surprised to find a drive-through Chinese restaurant that also provides delivery! The area isn't that nice and can be hard to find. However, service has been pretty efficient and fast, no matter which sort of service we've chosen. I wouldn't say that the prices are unreasonable or that the servings are small. Most importantly, the food is good, the menu can be hit-or-miss (either in terms of trying new things, or in slight inconsistency of cooking), but most everything I've tried has been tasty and pretty authentic. I would highly recommend the salt and pepper squid, or any of the fried rice options.

This place is AMAZING!!! I ordered their egg rolls, which happen to be the same recipe I grew up eating and only one other restaurant I know of makes them this way. That was enough for me to give 5 stars but then I loved everything I ordered from there. The bean sprout fried rice was amazing and has a choice of meat as the ordering format, which was simple and left out scrolling through 100 options to find the correct one. I also ordered their “General Chicken” which was all top quality white meat and they were cool about me asking to put the sauce on the side so it didn’t make the fried batter on the chicken mushy. I’ve been eating here for about 6 years now and I have loved every time I’ve eaten here! I really wish they would re-open the indoor seating though; it would be nice to have a sit down dinner IN their restaurant!

Vancouvers hidden little secret Chinese restaurant. Don't let the location and displacement fool you. While this restaurant is take out & Delivery only its also the best in town. The biggest menu options I've ever seen from a restaurant. The quality of food will have you wanting more throughout the week and not just as a weekend treat. Green Tea dose offer delivery options from Door dash & Uber eats. However By giving them a call and personally placing an order for delivery or pick up they can help you with decision making and save you money from Door dash and Uber rates. Be patient this gem is busy.

The food was great, exactly how I expected it to be. The fried shrimp, egg rolls, BBQ pork, pork fried rice, and general tso's chicken was great and even made great leftovers for the next day

👁️ UPDATE: There was a fly in our last order. Vast menu at this take out only Chinese joint. Good size portions. The Kung Pao chicken was decent. The Mongolian beef had a lot more vegetables than I expected yet tasted pretty good. Hot and sour soup was good. BBQ pork fried rice was ok. I want rice with more debris (carrots, peas, pork, egg, ect). The spring rolls were just ok...but I'm not big on rolls. I really like the Szechuan Beef. Deep Fried Prawns are really good. They are lightning fast. All this only took 15 minutes. Hard to find. Use Google maps. PRO TIP: Delievery is only $3. ✌️

Writing as both a customer and Doordasher. As a customer I order through Doordash, (I used to directly order from the restaurant even they had their own delivery) the food quality is very hot and miss. They have large portions and the combo meals are good when it comes to value but in my opinion I feel they focus on quantity over quality. There was one time I had to call into the restaurant because the sesame chicken wasn't cooked well, they offered a replacement, but I didn't feel like driving, so I dismissed it. Other than that, it's ok. As a Dasher, they had the food ready within 5 minutes and was early to my customer. They have a drive thru to get the food. I don't think they have any indoor dining, even without covid. I think it's takeout only. It's tucked away, so it's easy to miss. Keep your eyes peeled. If you like my reviews, please feel free to like and follow me :)

I ordered pork chow mein…does this look like pork chow mein to you? I got a box FULL of bean sprouts in sauce, and the pork is not good… even though the bean sprouts and sauce were hot, the pork was cold. I don’t know why I spend my money to order chow mein if I don’t even get noodles. Like what?
