Fito's Taco Shop

Food was ok at best- overall lacked flavor. Wife and I tried eating here twice. The chimichangas drowned in cheese and enchilada sauce (which I don't care for) and the carne asada in the flying saucer (tortilla bowl) lacked flavor. The chicken burrito was literally just seasoned chicken in a tortilla (nothing else), but still lacked flavor. The best thing we've tried on the menu (ate there twice just to make sure it wasn't just an "off day" the first time) was the beef burrito- meat was well seasoned and had sauteed onions and bell peppers. If we ever eat here again- only ordering the beef burrito.

I have lived out in the Vail area for years now and never tried Fito's. This past weekend my girls asked for "cheap Mexican" food which is their way to ask for one of the many Betos variants that exist in Tucson. I decided to give Fito's a chance and was VERY pleased. The chorizo burrito was spot on and huge!! I ordered 3 burritos total and they got my order correct and sent me on my way with a smile, I will surely be back.
