A must stop for me when I'm in Vail. Tiny restaurant/bar with outdoor seating and a busy to-go counter. Delicious (and quickly served) food and drink. Jovial atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommended. Get there specialty of the house: hot dog served Swiss style. Delish!!!!!

Very very cute place! I didn’t have their food, but their Hot Chocolate with Peppermint Schnapps was DELICIOUS! They even made it to pretty!

The Swiss Hot Dog was very good as was the Austrian Spiced wine. Staff were friendly and the ambiance was nice and relaxed. However, pricing is quite high for what it is. The triple hot dog was $16.95.

Nothing compares to the original Swiss Hot Dog! I've been addicted to these things since I was a kid, growing up here in the 80's. Anytime I happen to be passing through Vail, I make a point to stop and grab a Swiss Hot Dog. It's my favorite treat to myself, and well worth the price. I like to get a triple, because I think it has the best ratio of sausage to other ingredients. This is a family-owned business that has survived through some tough times. I'm glad they're still around!

This restaurant proudly serve the one and only Vail's original... The SWISS DOG.. two mild pork and veal brats served on a French baguette.. Do not miss it.. That's all I can say folks.. out of words..

In the mid 1980's, I lived in Vail. My favorite place to get a relaxing and yummy lunch was the Swiss Hot Dog Company. Over the years, I traveled to Vail with my kids. My kids loved eating at the Blu Cow. I was thankful to see that the food was still good. Years ago, you shipped the hot dogs and seasoning out to customers. Do you still do this?

Had a "Regular" today!
No trip to Vail is complete without a stop at the Blu Cow. I always remember visiting with Ernst when I walk in. The hot dogs and soup are unique here. Great selection of beer. Friendly staff. 30 years of memories for me. Cheers Steve
