At first the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food came out and looked as amazing as it tasted. Until.....I found a whole intact baby cockroach in my chicken spinach florentine!! I threw up and it ruined the entire atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant. We will NEVER go back there again nor will we EVER recommend it to anyone!!!! They actually offered to make me a fresh one! YUCK!!! As if I would want anything else from their kitchen let alone the same dish! NEVER GO TO THIS SO CALLED RESTAURANT!!!!

Worst service ever and unsanitary. Our waitress completely ignored our table for thirty minutes. We asked for bread and just threw the basket on our table and didn’t say anything when I said thank you. Obviously, she was having a bad day but that’s not really our fault. I’ve been server and would never treat anyone that badly. We asked for a to go box and the check. She never showed up again. Thirty minutes later we just walked to the front and just left all our leftover food. FYI, one of the other waitresses was sick and coughing into the food she was delivering to the private room. When we complained about the service the girl at the front just said “well, what do you want me to do about it.”

My wife and I had lunch there this afternoon and it was great. I was an executive chef for Landry’s for 8 years, specializing in Italian cuisine, and it has been a very long time since I have had genuine Italian food cooked the right way. I would recommend this hidden treasure to anyone who wants real Italian cuisine. Thank you for renewing my faith in good food. Allen

One of my favorite places to eat dinner in Uvalde. I always make an effort to stop here when I am in town visiting family. The service is always friendly and prompt. So far I have never had an order come out wrong, but I have never been part of a large and/or complex order. The food is always good the times I have been; the pizza is especially good in my opinion. I enjoy many of the pasta dishes, I am allergic to some seafood so I can't comment on that part of the menu. Desserts are good and of the standard variety: tiramisu, cheese cake, etc. The dining area is nice with some interesting decoration. Usually there is italian-ish music playing but it is never loud enough to make conversation hard. There is a pool table in a side room with maybe a bar, I have never gone in to be sure. There is also a large dining room in the back where I have seen large parties celebrating.

Asked for delivery. When arrived no silverware. Bread had no flavor. No garlic butter or anything. Just non flavorful bread. Salad had dressing on them. When delivery you would think dressing on side. I ordered the cremora with penne pasta, it was served with alfredo noodles. Not a bad meal but will not do again.
