Bubba's 33

This was our second time trying Bubba's33 because the first visit a year ago was a complete disaster. This visit went much more smoothly on an over crowded Saturday night. We were seated at a dirty table because busser's couldn't be located. A bartender noticed wothin 10 minutes and came to tell us who our waitress would be and clean up a bit. Our waitress showed up seconds later and tried to take over the clean up and was snapped at by the bartender about trying to take her rags. Yeah, that happened 🙄 The bartender walked away and our embarrassed waitress apologized and took our order. It came out relatively quickly and was perfect. She stayed on top of everything without being invasive at all. She earned a great tip. They're doing something right, it always appears busy. The menu has a good variety, the food was good at a decent price. It is loud so if you're looking for a place to talk over your meal this isn't the place for you but if you are down for sports and drinks with good food and you don't mind having to shout a bit this is a perfect fit.

Normally I don't do a lot of reviews, but when something or someone is outstanding I think they should get recognition. I ordered the California Chicken. It was the best chicken I had eaten since I can remember when. Moist and juicy. Very flavorful! Our waitress Victoria was attentive to our needs without being asked. The staff was smiling and courteous from the moment we entered until we left. Overall an excellent experience!

Great food and ice cold beer with TVs lining the walls for any game you want to watch. Update: sadly, I've had to drop this review from 5 stars to 2. In my last 2 visits, the food quality has dramatically dropped. The burger patties are now half the size of the bun with no strip of pink in the middle. The server we had on this last visit focused on 1 large table, ignoring the needs of his other tablets. We're taking a break from Bubba's until they can fix these issues.

Service was great. When we walked in we were acknowledged and out server was tentative. We had the mozzarella sticks and onions rings for a app. What I loved about both of those you could tell they were battered in house and not frozen. They were really good. I had the Buffalo burger mild sauce with fries. It was yummy. My husband had the quac burger and son had the burger. They both said it was worth coming back. That's a lot coming from those 2. 😆 I also had a frozen mango margarita....that is what I was disappointed about. The one thing I dislike is when they don't mix the flavor in and just poor it on top.. I was hoping fresh fruit margarita but the liquid flavor is ok too just don't be lazy and not stir it in all the way. Over all I would give them a A-.

First time visit. 1 star for service... 3.5 stars for food. I called ahead for our party and got there before the estimated wait time of 40-50 minutes. The hostess said she couldn't see it on her board but she remembered my call and I showed her the text confirmation. Another older lady with a grumpy demeanor went to look around, and then came back to tell us that we have to wait another 50 minutes even though I already called ahead and have a confirmation. Totally unprofessional and unorganized. They ended up seating us 20m later which wasn't too bad for our party of 8. We got to the tables and waited 20 minutes for a server. He was apologetic for the wait. Took our drink orders - All waters- and we ordered wings and onion rings for appetizers. It took 15 more minutes for the waters to come. 2 of the water cups were filthy. See photos. The wings came out first. They were ok. The onion rings finally came out and they were delicious!! We all ordered burgers and one order of the chicken nachos. In total from checking in to receiving our food, we were there from 6:30p to 8:18p for part of our food to come. Only 5 people's meals came out. 10-15 minutes later, 2 more came. They forgot to cook the 8th order, so it took his burger another 35 minutes to come out so they comped his. The nachos had a great flavor, but they were unfortunately cold and stale by the time they came out. Our waiter was nice, he seemed overwhelmed. There were too many other workers not doing anything, like the older lady at the front with the hostess. She could have been waiting tables instead of being at the front when there was already a hostess. It seemed like lots of other parties were upset, as the table behind us was complaining too and on the way out, a lady was asking for a big Manager, like a GM after she'd spoken to the manager. You guys need to get your system together and invest in proper training across the board. Instead of having 2-3 ppl at the front standing, cross train so they know how to take drink orders at least. Nobody should be standing around when you're starting to get busier. Will we come back? Maybe. Good food, terrible service. I'd hate to see your doors closed because of your poor service.

We used to love this place but recently the quality has gone downhill. We tried for a long time not to complain, thinking it was maybe just a bad night, but this was the last straw. My husband and I recently went for a quick late night bite. We ordered two burgers and an appetizer of chips w/dip. When we got home, the dip was in the bag but no chips. At that point, the restaurant was closed so I ended up calling the next day and spoke with a manger. I felt she was skeptical that I was being truthful, but I had my receipt in hand just in case. She offered to give me vouchers which I did not want because I don’t plan to go back. I was promised a refund instead, but I checked my bank statement, and never received it. Now I definitely won’t go back. This was a missed opportunity to make it right. I’m so disappointed in this establishment. We also had difficulty obtaining a receipt. The original copy to sign and leave tip was never given to us when we picked up, so my husband ran in to get it right after the curbside attendant walked off. She acted really suspicious, like she didn’t know what happened to it. That left us uneasy, but my husband still gave her a tip anyways. We got home and now regret that decision once we realized the order was incomplete.
