Four Kings

I went to Four Kings for lunch and got the bahn mi sandwich and beer cheese soup. The soup was delicious and gave a generous portion. The bahn mi was delicious! They stuff all ingredients into the sandwich except for the carrots so it's kind of awkward to eat with all the carrots falling off the top. With that small thing being my only critique I would definitely go again, their staff is so friendly and the sandwiches are delicious.

If you want delicious Bahn Mi this is the place to go. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. There's a different lunch special every day. Workers there are super friendly. If a place has quite a bit of regulars, that says a lot about the place. After lunch, be sure to stroll on to next door for delicious bakery items. They are affiliated with each other and use the breads made for their sandwiches. Will definitely return to both places. Tried the Banh Mi sandwich. I had high expectations from reading the reviews but sadly it wasn't as good as I hoped. For starters, the carrots and cucumbers were not crunchy and the meat was a bit too sweet on flavor. Also the onion soup was a bit on the sweet side (perhaps a bit too much sugar?). However, I plan on going back to try other items.

Amazing restaurant and a true treasure in Universal City, Texas. All the locals know about this wonderful restaurant and I was finally able to stop in and try their food today. I had the tuna sandwich, chips and water. Just a wonderful meal and the hospitality and friendliness of the staff made the experience of dining here on that I will repeat often in the future. Highly recommend this place!

Great little place and was quite busy yet moved fast for a lunch rush. I ordered two Bahn Mi. Both sandwiches had great flavor and seasoning on the meat. The sandwich’s were a little messy and lacking everything except carrots. As you can see it was filled with and covered in carrots which was interesting. The carrots on the outsides of both sandwiches made them quite soggy on the outside. There was also supposed to be cilantro but one sandwich didn’t have any at all and only one cucumber slice inside. I have faith and will be returning to try more of their great looking menu
