Fantastic food and even better owners and staff. Service is excellent. Their food is always fresh. They serve a different homemade soup each day, Monday through Friday. They'll even let you sample the soup before you buy! Breads are fresh baked daily, in house. Heavenly scratch made desserts are to die for. They have them in house and next door at their Four Kings Bakery. Also in the bakery, they have a variety of fresh baked breads.
Don't just take my word for it, go check them out for yourself. You won't be disappointed. It will only let us give five stars, I give them ten!!
I have always received good service. And while some of the items are not to my personal taste that is simply a matter of personal taste. Their food is always fresh and good quality and quantity. Sometimes a little high, but worth the money. My personal favorite is the roast beef, but it's not uncommon for me to buy their weekly meal.
Four Kings is one of the better lunch spots I've visited since arriving in Schertz. The daily soups are terrific and the portions are filling. I've tried three of the sandwiches and all three were very tasty. The freshly baked breads make a huge difference in quality. Speaking of, the adjoining bakery offers delicious and inexpensive treats as well. I recommend both.

I met a friend at this sandwich shop, that in my eyes is a hidden treasure! I almost missed it from the street, but once inside the people make up for the lack of atmosphere. Very friendly service and the food is amazing!!!
I had the Banh Mi sandwich, which I will be back for again and again, and the flavor of that sandwich was incredible. The bread, which is made fresh daily was delicious!

My wife and I had the privilege of dining at Four Kings on Saturday, April 11. We shared 2 sandwiches: The Banh Mi and The Roast Beef. These are 2 of the best sandwiches that we have ever had with unbelievable flavor profiles. The broccoli cheese soup was great and really tasted homemade. Their homemade cookies and brownie bars are not to be missed either. They staff was very friendly and accommodating and did an excellent job. This is a hidden gem of a place!
Delicious Bahn mi! I was concerned about the jalapeño but it was not hot or spicy at all. Will get next time!
This place is amazing. The people are amazing. The specials are different everyday. The soup is different everyday. Everything is from scratch. I have sent everyone I know here and they have loved it. If there is a bad review on this site it is due to 1-picky people who are used to subway crap and 2-people who want to see a mom and pop place fail. If you want home made and see smiling faces come here.
Trying is believing, this place is AMAZING! Great balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, pride in every dish shows...nothing but the best here! Probably the best restraunt I've found in SA area.
This place was utterly amazing. The food was not only delicious but surprisingly affordable. I took my family of 3 1/2 we all got different sandwiches, drinks, my wife got the soup, and my daughter got dessert and it was 30$! Friendly staff, nice environment, and delicious food are the reasons why we will be going back.

I went to Four Kings for lunch and got the bahn mi sandwich and beer cheese soup. The soup was delicious and gave a generous portion. The bahn mi was delicious! They stuff all ingredients into the sandwich except for the carrots so it's kind of awkward to eat with all the carrots falling off the top. With that small thing being my only critique I would definitely go again, their staff is so friendly and the sandwiches are delicious.
If you want delicious Bahn Mi this is the place to go. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. There's a different lunch special every day.
Workers there are super friendly. If a place has quite a bit of regulars, that says a lot about the place.
After lunch, be sure to stroll on to next door for delicious bakery items. They are affiliated with each other and use the breads made for their sandwiches. Will definitely return to both places.

I had heard alot of good thing about this place. Finally went today and no regrets at all! I got the gyro special and it's was really good. After went to the bakery nextdoor and got the chocolate strawberry Cake which was amazing! Will go again!
Amazing restaurant and a true treasure in Universal City, Texas. All the locals know about this wonderful restaurant and I was finally able to stop in and try their food today. I had the tuna sandwich, chips and water. Just a wonderful meal and the hospitality and friendliness of the staff made the experience of dining here on that I will repeat often in the future. Highly recommend this place!
My colleagues from UT made it a point to eat here. It was good! We came here from one of my other co-workers from the 575th. Glad we took his suggestion.
