Food and service was excellent. Had the ‘special’ , chuck roast with mashed pot gravy and carrots and the Shannon salad , minus blue cheese. Great little find in Union ,Mo.
My personal favorite is the fried chicken salad, wings and pizza!
Haven't been to Hagie's in awhile, so stopped on our way back into town on a Sunday evening. Dining options seem to be limited after 3p on Sunday's in the area, but we were happy with our choice. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. The toasted rav's were good, but could use a nice sprinkle of parmesan to take them up a level. My husband ordered the Sunday dinner special BBQ pork steak, which was a bit overdone, as you can see, and dry. I think they should go with a thicker cut of pork, as it was in the thin side. His dinner salad was good sized and even had small florets of broccoli and cauliflower pieces. I ordered the steak sandwich which had great flavor and was easy to eat without a fork or knife. I would only suggest a more substantial bread option, like a hoagie roll, as the grilled sourdough wasn't really grilled enough and got soggy on the bottom pretty quick. Overall, the taste on everything was good and we'll be back.

I can't say enough about the food here. Everyone in our party was delighted with the food and service. My chicken tenders were hot and moist - cooked perfectly, and the sweet potato fries were crisp and delicious. This will be our go-to place in Union.
Always good food, clean, reasonable prices. I would have given them 5 stars but they had installed plexiglass (assuming due to covid) and it caused a nasty glare/reflection of the TV screens

Stopped in for lunch today our server Lizzie greeted us with a smile. We ordered the special “Fried Chicken, mashed potato’s, corn, and a roll.” The fried chicken was amazing. My only disappointment was our server would not allow me to substitute my mashed potatoes for more chicken. I understand food cost and the mashed potatoes were very good, however I love chicken. I should’ve sweetened the pot by throwing in the corn. I will be back.
