It smelled like rotten trash when I walked in. The smell is almost unbearable. The cashier was very friendly, the cook in the back said he didn’t want to start his fryers back up so the customers would have to wait 30 mins. 😳 very unprofessional talking about the customers and how much food they were needing that they needed to go somewhere else because he wasn’t doing it.

My friend and I stopped at Chicken Express today for lunch. Food was great but what made the experience the best was the man who waited on us. His name is J.C. and he was happy and very pleasant to deal with. This was at the chicken express on loop 323. He really made our trip worth it.

Went in today and was greeted by J.C. he was great! I watched him assist several people with disabilities to their tables with drinks as well as food without being asked. My chicken was a little dryer then normal and he made it right.

Went to the CExpress on loop 323 in Tyler today at noon. Ordered two 2 catfish fillets both with hiss puppies and one with okra one with mash potatoes and both with cold slaw. Both with tarter sauce and cocktail sauce.
We waited 15 minutes for them to cook it and 7 cars behind us got their orders and left. We got home and no cocktail sauce but two tarter sauces each! Then we both got okra but no cold slaw at all.
Checked receipt and the receipt had order correct. Can’t anybody read and put it in the bag?

Just got my food and everything is hard and cold except the chicken and the chicken is burnt. My 2 year old wouldn’t even eat it

At this visit the credit card machine was out, which wasn't told during ordering but very apparent that had just gone out. Service had an incredibly bad attitude and conveyed how much they did not want to be there. Top this experience off with order not being correct.

JC was awesome, he definitely is an asset. His positive and up lifting demeanor would make anyone's bad day turn good. Spencer the manager has a great team working for him keep up the good work.

I waited for 12 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes, and fried okra in the drive thru for an entire hour. A real life hour. I ordered at 1:02 and received my order after waiting in the front of the drive thru line at 2:04.
