Food smelled wonderful walking in. 2 sandwiches and a plate dinner a little over 40.00. No for that we got meat and bun sauces on the side. Well also the 2 sides with the plate. Food taste wise was so so and the sauce was the same. WILL NOT GO BACK.

We visited Bodacious BBQ in Tyler after the lunch rush and left so there were few folks left. I had the sliced beef sandwich combo with chips and pinto beans, and my wife had the sliced beef sandwich combo with coleslaw and potato salad. We both really enjoyed the food! The sauce they provided was heated with a hint of vinegar, but wasn't overly hot or spicy. Good stuff! Plenty of seating and the space was very clean. Employees were friendly. Will definitely return.

Had an excellent lunch. Sliced beef sandwiches were loaded with tender, smoky brisket. Sides were good. Service was good and the atmosphere is good. I will definitely go back.

I had the best baked potato ever. Had all the fixings, and the chopped beef. I highly recommend going to Bodacious for lunch or dinner.

I try different bbq places in east Texas and It’s sad how the worst bbq place in tyler tx(bodacious bbq) decides to copy local bbq. They was the only one selling tater kegs and now bodacious decided to try and copy their idea. just give up the bodacious bbq idea it is a dying dream in tyler texas. Local bbq is taking over time for you to pack up and close your doors

Not great enough to go back to spend $25 on 2 Turkey sandwiches that weren't worthy of a happy dance when I took that first bite. 1 small serving of mac n cheese that wasn't good at all! 1 small tea that was pretty good. I didn't even see a wheelchair accessible entry! The decor is very interesting, but maybe they should put more of that into being mindful of our disabled community instead.

I really wanted to like this place. The restaurant was clean, service wasn't bad, and the smell was incredible. All of this led to a pretty major let down when the food came out. The only truly good part of the meal were the stuffed jalapeños. The chopped beef was incredibly dry and required near a quarter bottle of barbecue sauce. The sausage didn't have much flavor. And the potato salad was very dry. The price was also a bit extreme, though this wouldn't have been a shortcoming if the food was enjoyable. Overall, I won't be going back. The atmosphere is great so it's not a bad place. Just not a good place to eat.
