I love Rudy's but I was disappointed with the moist brisket in this location. It was not as moist and the beef was hard/tough. That's why I am giving it a 1 star.

I had moist brisket. The brisket was so fat I had to throw away half of what I bought. At twenty bucks a pound that means that I threw away $10 worth of fat. See if you'd be happy with that. The beans would be good if they were warm. I guess the best thing about the meal was the coleslaw. My wife got baby back ribs and they were very good . She also got creamed corn and said it was good. So 50% of the meal was good and the rest was so so. Over 40 bucks for two people I would say try somewhere else.

I like there food I come here a lot!
Today the breakfast staff was rude and my food was cold I was disappointed
I asked for bbq sauce to go and they kept pointing at containers of salsa saying it was bbq sauce I had to ask the lady in the grocery section if they had it on the line and she said that's salsa in front of you and I said okay where is the bbq sauce and she responded again that's salsa in front of you
I don't know why she would continue to say that's salsa in front of you instead of showing me where the bbq sauce was
Just a heads up their bbq sauce Togo looks like a butter container lol I hope they are nice if I come back again I felt like I was a burden on them

Not bad BBQ but not great. Sides were pretty decent though. They have no idea what sweet tea is. Both unsweetened and sweet had unsweetened tea. Asked if they had any sweet tea available and was told yes. They got me some from the back and it was also unsweetened. So either their version is way different than many East Texans or they just dont care. Ribs were dry as well as brisket.

Gave 1 star only because I can't give 0 stars. Ordered 1/2 lb of moist brisket and it's so chewy I literally can't eat it. Easily the worst BBQ I've ever attempted to eat.

I was rather excited to visit Rudy's for the first time. Maybe I had my expectations set too high. The food was mediocre. The coleslaw was utterly flavorless. The brisket was decent. Not a fan of the soda crate trays.

Brisket was cold. The rib had a bit of a weird after taste. Work station looked dirty. Food scale was off. When measured in the back, the result from the from the front counter scale was different. Will not recommend. Whataburger is down the street.

As MANY of the other reviewers have stated, I am only giving one star because zero stars is not an option. Hands down the worst food and service I've ever received. I attempted the pulled pork sandwich but it more closely resembled some sort of pork jerky? Very tough & inedible. The sauce they offer has no flavor. The meal was ridiculously expensive & the quality was obviously garbage. $40 to leave still starving!
