Outback Steakhouse

The food and service were perfect. We haven’t been to an Outback in 5 years, but we were pleasantly surprised at how fantastic our experience was. Our waitress was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and in a timely manner. We definitely recommend.

Last minute dinner decision was a great decision! Fast, friendly service. Fay was our waitress. She was knowledgeable, outgoing and attentive. During our meal, we took notice of the bus boy’s (Matthew) work ethic. He had an impeccable attention to detail and was very thorough in getting his work done. Come to find out, he was asked to come in last minute due to staff shortage. Highly appreciate him! Way to go Outback!

I ended up at Outback after my first choice steakhouse had an hour wait. In hindsight I should have just spent the time waiting for a table at Texas Roadhouse. The potatoes were not at all appetizing, my date smacked hers with a fork and it sounded like a brick, they needed heat and butter for sure to be palatable. The chicken I ordered was juicy and flavorful but a bit salty. The rice was ok but a lil overcooked, adding butter to it really improved it however. Overall I wish I had just waited for a table at Texas Roadhouse. Likely won't be back again.

This was from awhile ago, but i just found the code to come review and thought about it. So here’s the dealio. I’m not a huge fan of outback for a few reasons, mainly some of the quality of food. But that’s just me. I just really needed to leave a review SOLELY to praise our server. Her name was Lacy. She was 5 stars!! She was by far the best server i’ve had at any Outback. She was very friendly and brought a good energy to the table. She was attentive as well, but not overly so. I really appreciated her service, and would recommend her to others! (Outback in Tyler, TX)

My wife and I visited this Outback Steakhouse while on a little get-away in Tyler. We were seated in the bar area. Travis J quickly introduced himself as the one who would be taking care of us. And he really did! Even though we were both drinking only sweet tea, he kept our glasses full, kept the positive vibes and the delicious food coming, and made sure to answer any questions! My wife and I shared the Blooming Onion, Steakhouse Cheese Fries, and the steak & chicken with Mac & cheese and a salad. The food was all superb, service was fabulous, and the atmosphere was great!

If I could give more than five stars, then I definitely would! We had a situation where we gave the hostess my husband's phone number and realized later on that he didn't have his phone with him, but the staff was able to squeeze us in and seat us in a perfect little area. Lilian (I believe that was her name) was such a sweet and amazing waitress, making sure we were taken care of and always had what we needed. She's also the first and only waitress at any restaurant to ever offer to let us stay as long as we would like since it was our first date night in a very long time, which meant so much to me. Thank you Lilian! You are the BEST!!!
