My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. The food and drinks were delicious and our server was awesome. I was a little annoyed that my salmon wasn't bigger for the price. That was the smallest salmon I've ever had at a restaurant. For $30 I expected more. The biggest problem was that they seated us in a section with about 3 larger parties. They were very loud and ruined our "romantic" anniversary dinner. I also saw in the reviews that some couples were given a free dessert for their anniversary but we didn't get anything and it being our anniversary wasn't even acknowledged even though I put it on the reservation. This is an expensive restaurant which we already knew beforehand. We ended up paying around $160 including tip.

I made reservations via OpenTable for our first wedding anniversary dinner because I wanted something special. Thankfully I made the correct choice!
We arrived a bit early for our reservation and we were immediately seated. Since this was my first time here I wasn't exactly sure what to expect outside of the reviews I had read since we only recently moved to the Tyler area.
We started with fresh oysters (or should I say "I" started with them) followed by salads. Our entrees arrived at the table in a timely manner after we had finished our salads. Every course was impeccably timed and our drinks were always full.
As for dessert, my wife requested coffee after her meal and our waiter let us know that since this was our wedding anniversary, dessert was on them.
Someone obviously took the time to read my OpenTable comment that this was our anniversary. Many places I have booked with OT in the past either have never read them or ignored the comments so kudos to them!
To summarize, the entire experience was excellent and greatly appreciated. Our waiter as well as other waiters and waitresses were attentive but never intrusive!
We will certainly be back.

Amazing!!! We went there for our anniversary and everything was top notch. We started in the bar which is very comfortable and relaxing. We had a very romantic table in the corner. Our waiter was terrific. Best steak in town! Terrific side options including a very flavorful lobster mac n cheese. The key lime pie for dessert was divine. The white chocolate bread pudding was also delightful. Great wine selection. If you are coming here, you already know it is expensive but it is worth every penny!

Drink menu is great. Got the prime ribeye, wow very good! I went for a special event, they had valet parking and you needed a reservation, which was nice because the table was ready. Service staff was awesome, polite, and responsive. Will come back soon.

I got no pictures of our appetizers and entrees bc we finished them before they can even stand a chance. Classy & romantic place for lunch/dinner. Love the way booth tables are set up

All of our food was FANTASTIC!! I would have given 5 stars but the service was not the best but anyone can have an off night so we are hoping it was just an off night for our server. It is pretty expensive so be ready, but in my opinion the food was well worth the price!! I wish we lived close by so we could visit again...maybe someday!

Having dined throughout the United States as a business traveler I can share a few things here based on my opinion comparing to other restaurants with comparable pricing. I opened with an old fashioned. And it was served nicely other than a foggy ice cube as it was smooth and balanced. No sugar residues. Just over $10 using Jim Beam.
For my meal, I ordered the stuffed flounder with wilted spinach and potatoes au gratin. The flounder was perfect. Served hot and right out of the kitchen. The crab stuffing was delicious and complemented the dish perfectly. I wasn’t as happy with my side dishes because both were less than piping hot and both lacked anything more than a somewhat common taste. For the price of the dish, and the ambience of the restaurant, I expected a bit of a chefs flair with a notch up of taste. The potatoes needed more cheese and a seasoning while the spinach a bit more seasoning. It seemed the sides were prepared ahead of the seafood portion of my meal. All in all, the main course was fantastic and I will definitely return. Service and hostess were kind and attentive. Valet parking was a nice touch as well.
