We stopped here for breakfast. The service was excellent. We were seated quickly and our drinks arrived shortly after. Breakfast was delicious, all of our dishes were great and we all cleaned our plates. We ordered a strawberry rhubarb pie to take home. The place was very clean and well staffed. We did not get a chance to stop in the gift shop but it did look like they carried a wide variety of really cool local products. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a hearty filling meal and friendly service!

This cute little Cafe was recommend to us for breakfast. While we didn't make it for breakfast due to hiking, we decided to try for the Cafe for a late lunch/early dinner. The food was delicious, in satisfactory portions and at decent prices. They also have pies in several flavors and a beautiful display case of amazing chocolates. The attached gift shop is also very cute - with an amazing variety of items to choose from.
Looking forward to going again when we get back to the North Shore!

Really enjoyed stopping by for lunch, pie and a stroll through the cute gift shop. Perfect if looking for you “ up north souvenir”. They carried both Two Harbors & Castle Danger as well as Lake Superior finds band a few things Duluth.
The food was great. We had a child with grilled cheese, an olive burger (highly recommended), and club. Everyone enjoyed the fries, and two youngsters got strawberry shakes that were the bomb. We tried the pie- 5 layer chocolate (very rich) and a slice of apple.
They sell chocolates as well which looked delicious, but by the time we checked out we had all over eaten or they would have been perfect for the road.
Staff was very busy and short on the restaurant side. Super kind, helpful & friendly on the gift shop side. We visited March which is definitely an off season, but no less beautiful.
Make this a stop, for sure check out the pie, much better than the one you wait in line for up the road a few miles by far.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Varied menu, good home cooking taste, good quality and quantity. Nice gift shop. Great home made candies. But the PIES! Many kinds, home cooked, quality, and you need to take one home! Much cheaper and I think better than Betty's Pies, sorry Betty. Nice place, comfortable dining, big deck, convenient location. I will definitely add this to my must-stop list of places when visiting the North Shore. Enjoy!

We stopped here this morning for breakfast. Had eggs, toast, bacon, and sausage. The waitress was so friendly. The gift shop is amazing with unique things to buy. There is one diningroom area to sit in and further back is a nice bar area too. The way they decorated this place with a Northwoods theme makes it very welcoming. We will return again and try for a lunch or supper. If you are in the north shore area of Two Harbors, MN you should make a point to stop here.

Very good food at great prices, but was a very long wait. Too many tables for a single server. I got the ribs and there was more than I could eat. BBQ chicken wrap was great - not dry tortilla and not overloaded with sauce like too many other places. Tenderloin with beer-battered onion rings. Waitress brought food out as it was done, so the tenderloin came out first, then the onion rings - some like everything out at once, but this way all the food was hot. Pie-wise: you can’t go wrong. This is what we had: Blueberry crumble pie was pretty tasty (ask for it warmed up a little), lemon angel tasted great but needed fluffier topping (might have been sitting for awhile) and the seven layer chocolate was excellent. We’ll definitely be back despite the wait

Please do not leave without trying a piece of pie! Our server was super nice and was very efficient despite being slammed. Our food was good and our pie was even better! I had a slice of caramel apple pecan and my sister had the raspberry cream and both were incredible. The lady next to us told us that the north shore berry crumb is a combination of all the berries that grow on the north shore, which I thought was pretty cool. But again, do not leave without trying a piece!
