Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen

Let me just start off by saying normally I don't rate Popeyes, but this one I had to rate to save you the trouble. I went to this location Saturday March 24th 2018. At 3 pm. I went to order a number 4 all drums, 2 spicy, 2 regular. I was told there were no spicy. So I changed to all 4 regular. I was told there were only 3. So I changed order to number 3 all regular drums. I was told there are only 2 mild drums left. I changed my order again to a number 1 with 2 mild drums and french fries and the new Oreo crunch pie. I got the food and the fries were cold and stale. The chicken was luke warm. At 3 pm I'd expect there to be good coming out of the fryer. I was mistaken. The only good thing about my experience was the biscuit, drink, and the pie.

I have eaten at Popeye's all over the U.S. I enjoy the food. This store in Twin Falls is really slow. They don't cook the chicken until you order it. If you are in a hurry this is not a fast food place. Plan on spending at least 15-20 minutes waiting for you're order. I'm not sure why these guys are so slow. The other Popeye's I have been too are quick even when they are busy. The food is good it just take a long time to get it. I ordered the 9 piece special they have going on right now.

I went there for the first time and I will never go back. We went through the drive through. We ordered chicken and two sides. The chicken was decent but not worth the over price. The biscuits were good. But the other side was ridiculous. We ordered Cajun rice. When we got home and looked at the rice, we laughed. First of all, they gave us two different size containers with two different kinds of rice. And both containers were only half way full. As if they didn't want to go through the hassle of making another batch and just give us a combination of two leftovers. Awesome guys! Not cool!

I had a very great experience here at this fine establishment. The food here is made fresh, and it has amazing quality in taste and appearance. The people who work here are very nice and considerate of the customers. Although, during my visit, I had to wait a few minutes, it did not disappoint me. I would recommend eating here.

My daughter and I went for a daughter mother day and. Well... No good morning, No hello, No how are you, We told the gentleman at the front this was our first time being there, He didn't even speak to us. As for the food, I must say yes to a point it was good I ordered the shrimp # 11, My daughter # 7 spicy chicken. I had mashed potatoes not so good, my daughter had Mac-n-cheese that was good. Place was clean. Will we go back? Probably not..

Despite what everyone says about this place I decided to give it a try. We got a 12 piece meal with a ton of biscuits, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. It wasn't a small order so of course I expected a wait, especially seeing as it was only two guys working, but it surprisingly didn't take too long. The second guy that was cooking most of the time was pretty funny and had great social skills, made it a good dine in experience. I think the problem some people have is waiting time but if they always have only two guys people should understand it's not going to be instant. Overall, food was great, chicken was nice and juicy, biscuits were fresh out of the oven; service was great too and will definitely be coming back to eat here again.

Last night we decided to go into town for a quick bite and it turned into much longer than quick. We were the only ones in the drive thru (like always) and there was one older couple and a family of four in the actual store. We were told it would take 5 minutes to drop some fresh spicy chicken, we said that wasn't a problem (they always say the same thing when you order the spicy chicken). We waited for literally 20 minutes and when the gal came out to bring our food we said wow that was quite a while wait and her only response was we had a few orders and walked away. No, I'm sorry for the wait or anything. Not to mention in our 20 minute wait we watch the reaction of the other in the dining area and you could see none of them still had there food and they were there before us and they went up to the counter to find out why it was taking so long. Then when we got home we weren't given the correct sauces like we asked for and they couldn't even throw in some extra chicken for the extremely long wait. Even just an apology for the long wait would have been nice. We will not be going back for a very long time if ever again. And the store will probably be closed before we think about returning.

They started off rough when they first got here. I went in the other day. they were definitely up to the standards I have become accustom to with popeyes over the years. even with they're network servers on the fritz they handled everything with courtesy and friendliness. The flavor of the chicken was perfect both the spicy and the mild no sauce required unlike most other chicken fingers you find in other fast food places.
