Good breakfast with nice staff member who greeted us at 6am. She was very cheerful and made us feel welcome. Very cute restaurant inside. My French toast was a little dry and fruit wasn’t ripe. Husband enjoyed his breakfast and the sweet cream pancakes. Good coffee. Restaurant was very convenient to our hotel.

How warm friendly environment I ordered the pot roast, with green beans and mashed potatoes I also have the chicken soup and cornbread muffin. I was a bit hesitant to order the pot roast because I've never really had a pot roast in a restaurant but as it turns out it was well worth ordering very delicious I do like my green beans a little less cooked but everything was fantastic. I especially like the cornbread muffin not grainy, and a little bit sweet. No need for honey or jam. It was just like my grandma used to make.

We ate here because it was directly in front of the Hilton, where we were staying and thought the food might be better. It was a bad experience all around. We ordered takeout, two taco salads. Both we’re missing more than half their ingredients. There is clearly no attention to detail. We went back to notify them, salads in hand and initially the kid at the counter apologized and told the kitchen. That was fine, I waited patiently. Then a miserable woman came out and seemed bothered that we’d come back to request the missing ingredients (Avocado, Cilantro, jalapeños, olives, salsa, and refried beans) and argued that the cook did put beans in ONE of the salads, though I had both to show her. Whatever, complaining about food is the last thing I want to drive after driving 13 hours and getting the food I paid for the first time shouldn’t be an issue. Even after, both salads were pretty flavorless. And the whole stalks of cilantro seemed passive aggressive. There are better dining options in the area and we have no desire to try Black Bear diner anywhere again.

Amazing food and service! Very cute, lodge-like decor all centered around black bears. The food was amazing, and well priced. The calories were listed which helped make healthier decisions. They had a little gift shop that we couldn't help but over indulge in. The staff was very friendly and our waitress was exceptional! We can't wait to come back with our family on our next trip to Twin Falls.

Came for a quick dinner, food was great as usual. We were having a nice time until the cooks decided we all needed to listen to their choice in music. It certainly wasn’t my choice of music and I can’t imagine any restaurant owner choosing this type of music unless your restaurant is in some dive bar. The rest of the staff seemed fine with it. Makes me wonder if it’s time to stop coming to the Black Bear Diner?

Visited for the first time and was very pleased with what I ordered. I had the cinnamon roll French toast with some fresh fruit, very good. My friend had a hobo omelette with hash browns, he said his hash browns were a little dry but overall he liked his breakfast. It was a nice atmosphere with an attentive server, Esmeralda. Will definitely be returning again

My family has always enjoyed Black Bear Diner and today was no exception... until I paid. I understand prices have gone up for everyone but I was completely blown away by the cost of our breakfast. My meal cost about what I expected but my daughter ordered stuffed French toast with orange juice, Hash browns, and bacon. The total of her meal was $25.36! We had no idea we had to pay for each side separately. I even talked to both cashiers and checked the website. The French toast was supposed to come with fruit that we never got and the sides she was offered were additional costs. The food was good but $50 for the 2 of us to have breakfast is just more than I'm willing to pay ever again.

Good service at this location. Portions are generous and they took our order and got it to us quickly. We even went when it was very busy and they were short staffed. The quality of food was excellent as with most all other black bear locations.
