Gertie's Brick Oven Cookery

Okay, I read all the reviews and decided to try it out. I enjoyed the food. Good pizza. Service wasnt bad. I loved the environment and the way you can use the buffet but also order a certain kind of pizza was a cool concept...except that's all it was, a concept. The two pizzas we requested never showed up. I was a bit disappointed. I was really intrigued by the concept. if it actually worked that way it would be awesome.

Used to love coming here with the family. The last three times we have went there They were “under staffed” the salad bar is either a complete mess or empty. The Mac n cheese and spaghetti is never fresh. The drink fountain was completely out of ice and the water tasted awful. It’s not at all “all you can eat” because they don’t come around and bring out pizzas. We came for a birthday party this time and they charged an extra fee for the party which is fine. Except we cleaned up the tables. Literally grabbed the bussing cart and cleaned our table so we could do cake. Highly unimpressed.

Recently visited again after having moved 6 years ago. Still tastes great and love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The only downside is there is absolutely no changes to the tables for social distancing. I suppose that's an issue with the town and not the restaurant, but still sad to see that the owner doesn't care about the health and safety of customers and staff.
