La Casita Mexican Restaurant

We were on a trip from Salt Lake for the day and stumbled across this gem of a restaurant. They went way out of their way to take care of us and help me with choices, just after a oral surgery. This is a must stop in Twin Falls.....we WILL be back. Staff was friendly and the dining area meticulously clean. Owners work the place and it shows. Thank you for a great meal.

The staff was really nice they where attentive and always worried and on top if our refills. We ordered the burro de chile verde but you can tell right away everything is canned. The sauce the beans and salsa. The rice was just cooked and seasoned. Thats how it tasted like to us. I give the staff 5 stars. But the food a one just because it's edible.

The hostess is very warm and attentive yet not pushy. The tortilla chips bowl was never left empty as she tops it up each time it’s almost done bringing more salsa each time as well. I ordered a combi of tostadas with beef enchiladas (served with beans and rice)and it goes the same with the rest of my family with each ordering a different combi. The portion was considered ‘gigantic’ for our Asian appetite and sharing 3 combi plates would be sufficient for us. I find the sauce for my enchilada too blend, would have loved a more spicy one for more kick.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We were excited to try the food but it really just wasn't good. I got a chicken burro and it was literally canned chicken, no seasoning, wrapped in a tortilla. I am fairly certain the rice was flavored instant rice. We were disappointed. All the stars are for the awesome service.
