Harveys

An excellent place to eat and have a drink. I sat at the bar and all the employees were talkative and polite. They always made sure I had everything I needed and I felt very comfortable. I wasn't left alone to just sit by myself. Ashton was very talkative and polite. She made me feel at home and so did other team members. Enjoyable place and every time I go to Tupelo, Harvey's is always on the list!

Still 5 stars with the exception of the hostess. We ubered to the restaurant yet she attempted to make us wait outside. Then she pointed to two chairs in a high traffic area with the still closed for distancing, more secluded waiting area unavailable. We waited 35 minutes with tables open. I believe she would have made us wait longer had we not asked for the empty table. Our server Derick made up for the bad start. He was accommodating and friendly. An absolute opposite of the hostess. Derrick should train the front door staff on hospitality.

Restaurant was neat and clean, the greeters and server welcoming. We were a party of four traveling from out of state. The salads were great, but the food was not a good value. For the price, I was expecting a bit more. Many lower priced restaurants deliver a better overall experience. Salmon gooey (but the glaze was excellent), baked potato chunky, however, the ribeye was very good.

Today was started out mowing grass at home. We traveled to Tupelo to get a few things. We ended up stopping to eat here at Harvey's. We both had the cajun pasta dishes. One was chicken and the other was shrimp and crawfish. Excellent meals to order ! We also tried a glass of wine each. I had the Leftie Maiden Voyage white blend. My wife had the queens mead noir. Excellent wines to have these meals. Great pricing for the working family these days. Over all I recommend this restaurant to any and all. The appearance of this restaurant is so beautifully designed and elegantly laid out. Guys if your looking for a romantic evening for a first date, an anniversary, or just a night out with the wife, or guys proposing to that special someone here would be a great place. Again 5 stars for Harvey's. Also our waiter Greg was professional and courteous. God bless America !!!
