Blue Canoe

Was in the area for work a month or two ago, found it in a search for local comfort food and for something unique to the area. Seems like nothing special and it’s easy to just drive by but it’s a hidden gem! They have a great selection at the bar/in-house and the food is amazing!! They have unique finds on their menu and some good old fashioned southern comfort food that is something to brag about. I can’t remember our waitresses name, but she was there for a good number of years and she knew EXACTLY what she was talking about!! The atmosphere you get the notion people know each other here, when they have/had live music you can see the band signatures on the wall or along the ceiling. Gives a bluesy, nestled in kind of feeling without seeming to dark or cramped. I liked everything about this place and recommend stoping in when you are hungry!!
