A shout out to the awesome people who work here! My mother fell on her way in on patio. They gave her lunch for free, kept checking on her, filled out incident report, and walked her to her car. It seemed to be genuine caring. She goes there a lot so they know her. ❤️
Went through the drive thru this evening and to my surprise, it was almost perfect. I added and additional piece of fish to my order and it seemed double cooked or something and was a bit hard. The fries could have been better. 2 of the fish were delicious though.. very hot and fresh.
The food was great, the only (2) guys working the whole place did the best they could to keep up with all the orders. Great job! I got my order to-go. The actual restaurant is in desperate need of a complete face lift!! Looks and feels like a time warp to 1980!
Affordable and excellent sea food place. If you want a delicious fried or grilled seafood dinner at a reasonable price, this IS the place. Most people do NOT realize there are only 2 Captain D's in the entire state of Oklahoma. Owasso and Tulsa are lucky enough to have one. The wait staff are SUPER friendly at both locations and care about their dine in customers. No masks mandated it's your choice in their restaurants. This is the way it should be, customer and employee choice. Way to go Captain D's! Keep your heart in it and politics out of it. I recommend either restaurant!!
Had the four piece Battered Dipped Fish Combo half Classic & half Cajun w/Fried Okra & Mac & Cheese. Total cost $13.21
Captain D's have the best customer service in the drive thru I haven't seen that in a long time and they were very patient with me cause I forgot about an order I needed to make even the young lady behind the drive thru cashier was smiling the food was great andso are you guys.the customer service on admiral in Tulsa good job yall please keep it uo one day that wilp change someone day 🙏🏿🥰🙏🏿
The male cook and male cashier were friendly; a third worker, a female, came from the back to see who her two colleagues were conversing with. In a country currently torn by unnecessary racial strife, we had a wonderful interchange before they handed me my food.
Two White guys (one, originally from California), a Creek young lady from a town south of Tulsa, and me, a Black woman from Georgia, casually and respectfully discussed Native American culture and past Black-White relations. The Creek and I told the two White guys that we don't live in the past but, as she said, we "try to look forward." I added that the only reason I consider the past is to not repeat its mistakes--NOT to find reasons to hold grudges against people who had nothing to do with those past mistakes.
I left out of the restaurant feeling super good. (Oh--and the food, when I ate it later, was good, too.)
The staff was extremely friendly! The food was typical fried fish, a little greasy but tasted fresh. Everyone there was happy to help with any need presented to them!
Updated. Came to the Admiral street location and the order sign looks a little rough and the building looks old but don't let that that fool you. I got the number eight with fish and shrimp and it was completely awesome. The fish was hot and fresh and flaky. The shrimp was hot and fresh and a good size. I usually don't eat the fritters but these were hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly! Broccoli was fresh and soft, not over done. Fries were just ok but that didn't matter. I'm impressed this visit. Changed my prior message and stars to 5 star. Awesome meal
Great manager he was training at closing and my food was still am always is fresh.
The only Captain D's left in Tulsa and a really good one also show some support and keep them around
