It's been really lucky for me to find this place after they opened already for couple years. Nice sushi master and nice flavor. It really brings you the truly Japanese flavor with no doubt. You don't have to be rush because all you have to do is enjoying the moment with such a fabulous and delicious plates. No matter how many times I have been there, it never makes me disappointed once. Tempura sauce and Chirashi sauce just perfectly match its own. I would highly recommend this place and will become a regular customer for sure.
This place is so amazing! My fiancé and I have traveled around world, and we always miss excellent Japanese resturants when we come back to the states. A Sensu is an absolute gem. Jon the chef, is a master of his craft. Roger our waiter was a complete pleasure. He told us anout his history of working with Jon for more than 38 years. They have awesome stories of their time in Palm Springs, CA. The sushi is so carefully crafted and made with love. We will now come back at least once a week.
A Special Restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant. I waited a long long time to find my countrys taste, real Japanese cuisine. I am so happy.
Atmosphere is like being at home. Price is reasonable. I would love for you to try and enjoy real Japanese cuisine. Try it
Tanoshii soshite totemo oishii (Delightful and very delicious). I and my wife have enjoyed many a dinner here. The atmosphere is relaxed. The food prepared here is as authentic as it gets unless you are in Japan (been there). My wife is Japanese and impressed with the quality and taste of the food. We make it a point to eat here often. One of the best things is the food is prepared from scratch, not sitting on the stove or premade. This does tend to extend the wait time for the food to get to the table but it is well worth it. This allows you to enjoy and savor each course from appetizer (Sushi for me) to the miso soup and meal. Not feeling rushed and a relaxed atmosphere makes it an enjoyable outing. I recommend the " A Sensu" to everyone.
Authentic Japanese. This is my first review for urbanspoon. I must say that the food here is top notch and has a great flavor as well as a warm atmosphere.
The only complaint I have is the service can be rather slow at times so utilize their call ahead order or plan to spend some time.
The spicy tuna roll is excellent and does not disappoint. Great small local joint to give a try!
Amazing and fresh sushi served by someone who loves making sushi. The owner, John, is clearly experienced and it's apparent if you just spend some time talking with him. He has a fascinating backstory.
The sushi was incredible, and they are the only place in town that orders fish directly from Japan. This place may be small, but it's not a hole in the wall. It's a hidden gem.

He Answer All My Questions. I Tried 2 Of The Special Rolls & Was Blown Away. They Were Great. I Then Tried The Nigiri Sushi, & Found The Fish Was Outstanding. If The Nigiri Is Great Then The Sashimi Would Be Even Greater. I've Learned A Long Time A Go. Sushi Bars That Push Sushi Rolls Their Fish Is Not That Good--All That Rice & Seaweed Covers Poor Fish.

Real Japanese!. I've read a lot of reviews on Urban Spoon and I have to say that this is the first restaurant I have been to that has inspired me to write an actual review myself. I can say comfortably that my Japanese roommate from College would love this place.
The food is authentic. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the proprietor and waiter are engaging, friendly and understanding of those attempting to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine, The Sukiyaki is fantastic!!! The sushi has actual texture rather than being frozen mush. The Tonkatsu (my favorite Japanese dish) is made to a very high standard. As far as i know this is the only real Japanese place in town.
Best authentic sushi I have ever had in this country. Jon (owner and chef) and Roger (waiter) have been in the business for many years all over the country and will keep you entertained with stories of their travels while you wait for your food.Highly recommend you try it!
I loved my tempura vegetables!! And the chef came out to talk to me and even agreed to fix something for me that isn't on the menu. Loved that! However, the eel was a bit mushy, and the miso was extremely salty. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and some of my food was exquisite. I would definitely give this place another try.
This sushi bar is the best you will find. Hands down. The best. It is real. Not the american sushi we are all used to. Go in. Try it for yourself, then you dont have to take my word for it. My wife and I will only eat sushi from here on out. We sat there for an extra hour just conversing with the owners. Great date night!

Best sushi I've had in Tulsa. Friend had tempura veggies and salad, and loved both as well.
