Great food! Great atmosphere! I highly recommend checking this place out!! Chef Yancey's cooking is always on point!:)
I love all pizza! It would be hard to get a bad review from me. (That's not a challenge, by the way.) Isa had the wings and I ordered a gluten-free pizza with sweet Italian sausage. Both were very good. Our Server, Jessie was very accomodating. Thanks to my friend Eric Fransen for recommending this place to me.
Prairie Fire Pie is easily one of my favorite spots on Cherry Street. The food is consistently fantastic, the cocktails are always incredible, the selection of beers on tap and in bottles and cans are plentiful, they frequently have deals and their happy hour cannot be beat. On top of that they have a myriad vegan and gluten free options and always seem to be happy to accommodate. Even beyond that the staff is always mad helpful and friendly. Shout out to Spencer, Caleb, Andrew and the cooks always making us feel like fam.
My favorite place to stop and have pizza while in town. Spencer is always so accommodating and friendly, has a fantastic array of drinks on the top of his mind that he's able to whip up, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Ready to make your experience unique and memorable. I look forward to making it back before I leave. Def need a cool pic there pizze and sit at the bar if you have a chance otherwise the entire restaurant is a vibe!
Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Definitely see it being crowded on a busy night and there is not a ton of seating. Pizza was good, not the best I’ve ever had, but I will definitely come back. The menu is small but offers both red and white pizzas, which I think is great.
Wonderful hostess and wait staff! Loved Spencer behind the bar. He makes the yummiest drinks! Try the cauliflower and Kale salad if your wanting to eat lighter. 😋
Delish!
We went to an early dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Food and drink options were all pretty fantastic. We had three flavors of chicken wings, of which our favorites were the Five Spice wings. The baked fontina was wonderful. Service was good and attentive.
Prairie fire pie - visited November 1st.
Seating consists of a large wrap-around bar, several long tables and a few two seater tables. From one side of the bar you can see part of the kitchen and the pizza oven.
A dozen taps (not working at time of visit), bottles, mixed drinks and wine are available. Light volume classic rock plays in the background.
Good looking appetizers. pies organized on menu by sauce.
Friendly staff and I was able to strike up small talk, staff was willing to recommend food.
Because pizza is cooked to order, it did take a bit of time between order and serving (10-15 min)
Pizza is about 16” x 10” and is served with shaved Parmesan, a jar of red pepper flakes, and house hot sauce. It is big enough to probably serve two average people.
Great flavor, good crust. Hot sauce has flavor, and is not too spicy.
Nice spot for wood fired pie... I recommend the meatball pizza. If you like to sprinkle on some red pepper flakes, that's great because they serve it that way. If not, order it without. Low key ambiance and a cool bartender too. Oh yea, pizza is half price after 9pm.
I love this place! This is definitely a hidden gem! Spencer takes care of me everytime! He is very talkative and always encouraging me to try new things. Ever since I’ve went I have told everyone about this place!💜
Service was fantastic, it was very nice. I had a greek gluten-free pizza with vegan cheese. It wasn't amazing, but pretty good. Just needed more flavor, it may have been the sauce I picked. I was glad to have food I could eat that was pretty decent. I was also glad it wasn't thin crust. The kombucha is delicious! So is the cauliflower appetizer.

As if the service and food weren't completely over the top, the cost made my jaw drop. We arrived during happy hour and had two appetizers and two pizzas with soda to drink and spent less than 40 bucks which equated to more money to leave as a tip.
We started with some fontina and an order of mearballs. I swear I could've sat and ordered just that over and over and over and over. And over yet again.
The sourdough crust was quite pleasing and the toppings were delectable. Don't sleep on those meatballs (on the pie or as an appy) or the mushrooms. YUM!
The house made sauces added more than just a little extra kick. They enhanced the flavor of anything you splashed a few drops on. The habanero had just the right amount of heat and their own Prairie Fire signature sauce was just... WOW!
I can't wait for the kiddo to come back to town so we can hit up our new favorite spot.
