Duffy's

I've been going there for almost 15 years. The food is great!! I can't remember ever having a bad meal. Sometimes it's a little noisy in the back with music playing that's the way it goes. I'm really going to miss them!!! I lived couple blocks away even order by phone. I moved to 28th and Garnett area. But I go out of my way and have a meal now and then. That should say a lot!!

This is a l o n g review so go ahead and read it if you can spare the time. If not, go to Duffy's, you won't be disappointed. READ ON ... I've been enjoying Duffy's tasty tidbits and fully-charged comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for over 33 years. (They serve breakfast and lunch and are open from 6am to 3pm ) Every meal is prepared like the good cooks in your Remember them? Yummy! In some restaurants you reorder a dish expecting it to taste the same only to be disappointed. You don't have to worry about that at Duffy's. One of the exceptional attributes at Duffy's is their "dependable consistency" - it taste just as great the fourty-third time as it did the first time. ALWAYS GREAT! If I had to choose one thing that somewhat bothers me that I would change is the amount of food they give you. In my humble opinion the hugh amount of food is excessive, wasteful, and too much for one person to eat in one sitting. I always wish the homeless could have people's leftovers in a safe way. Of course, many others see this extravagance as an outstanding attribute and enjoy it throughly. We have our differences and they make the world go around💫😀. All in all you'll find you will never go away with an empty stomach. Or you could do what I do, get a to-go-box and eat your left-overs later at home. Thereby, paying once and eating your tasty meal selection twice -- the second time eating it free!😉 The wait staff are on-the-ball, excellent, friendly women who have been at Duffy's a really long time. After a while they know you well enough to know what you're going to order, depending of course, whether you're there there for breakfast or lunch😀. These hard-working women are proud to make our time at Duffy's worthwhile. Whether you're a regular or a first time visitor, you're treated equally and professionally. Believe me, you'll find you'll just keep going back again and again!

We've been going to Duffy's for seven years and love it! Very down home, both in food and style. (If you're looking for swank, Duffy's is not the place for you.) They serve breakfast and dinner all day, and the food is delicious - we've never had a problem with either food or service. The staff are all friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
