Great food and excellent service.
The empanadas are always very flavorful, definitely try the Columbiana and TCB.
The tostones are a nice addition to the empanadas, especially with a little hot sauce, and the fried sweet plantains are a sweet/savory treat.
Enjoy!
We ate at the Masa food truck on a recent Saturday at Bleu Garten in OKC. We took advantage of the deal where you get 6 empanadas for $12. We ordered two TCB empanadas, two pabellon empanadas, and two sunrise empanadas. My favorite was the TCB empanada, although at first I thought it was the sunrise empanada because the chicken inside looked like sausage or scrambled eggs instead of chicken. We both liked how brightly colored the empanadas are. Although they are fried, they are not too heavy. Given another chance, I think we would try the veggie empanadas.
Empanadas were wonderful. Arepas were also delicious! I'm not a big seafood person but I enjoyed the bacon bombs. Staff is always very friendly. I highly recommend.
Ordered the spicy jerk chicken and empanadas. Wow! Most excellent. Nice, comfortable eating area. Quick and easy to order - relatively short wait to be served our food. Will return soon.
We actually tried the bacon bomb and a couple empanadas at the food truck. The empanadas were tasty but a little small. They bacon bombs were kind of over priced, but still tasty. I would like to go back and try their full menu.
We ordered two arepas and an order of bacon bombs for $14. The arepas were great. We had spicy pork with Asian slaw and the chorizo and cheese. The bacon bombs were just okay and not a great value for the money. It was essentially two bites of food for $5. I'd love to come back and try all the empanadas. If you're flipping through the zomato photos just know that several photos are of menu items no longer being served.
Great food and great staff. They have something for everyone. They also have a food truck that has great late night food. I highly recommend for both lunch and dinner.
