A new favorite! I have gone with my kids - 6 and 4; they ordered adult meals and loved it. If you are craving a decadent local sweet, get the Dutch baby... definitely stole all of the granola off the top from my son. I am in love with the warm salad - it is just the right amount of food and is savory and satisfying. Between friends and family, we have had the breakfast sandwich, croissants, biscuits, coconut chocolate chip cookies (please bring those back!!!), scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, Dutch baby, warm salad, and cinnamon roll (sourdoughish - unique and delightful!). Everything was delicious except the biscuits - those where terrible; both kids and I tried and couldn’t eat them. One of the wines there is expensive but worth the try for brunch - like a red mimosa. It’s Alloy’s Tin City: a red zin with coffee mix in a can (sounds weird but interesting and fun and tastes like it sounds). It has 6.5 mg. caffeine per ounce, compared to the 8 mg./oz. in a cup of coffee. (You can buy it at Grapes and Grain if you decide you like it.)

I’ve been here six times and can confidently say that it’s deserving of the 5-stars. The food is cared about, skillfully and unpretentiously prepared and presented, and the service is top notch - friendly and down to earth. Perhaps most importantly, it’s consistent. Only once has there been a small miss, on the burger. I gave it a second try and it was phenomenal. The meat was incredibly well-seasoned. That leads me to believe my first experience was random, due to training, or otherwise not indicative of the standard. Food culture, and maybe especially in Tulsa, often over-promises and under-delivers, especially at the standard $10-$15 price point. Across all of downtown, cherry street, and Brookside, Levain is the only restaurant at this tier that actually delivers true value. If you’re tired of over-hyped and marginal eateries, Levain is an oasis.

Absolutely outstanding. The service is impeccable. The vibe (for breakfast) was great. Very clean. The food was incredible. Without exaggeration, the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The smoked trout salad was stellar. The dressing was pleasant without being domineering. The trout itself perfectly paired with the rest of the salad. Finally, they had a croque madame on some of the best sourdough I've had. Great all around. They made everything from scratch. Just a phenomenal experience from the very first step into the restaurant. One of the top 5 restaurants in Tulsa to be sure.

I had one of the best dishes I have ever had at any restaurant right here at Levain this evening. Sorry there it's no picture but when the gnocchi came to the table it looked exquisite, it smelled exquisite, and once I tasted it, well, it was too late. The wine was delightful. The waitstaff was wonderful. All in all a perfect 5 star experience. I can't wait to come back and try some of their other dinner offerings.

Trey Winkle has become one of my favorite chef's in the Tulsa area since his days at The Chalkboard. His gourmet approach to pub food put R Bar on the map of my regular stops for lunch. When I heard that his new concept, Levain Kitchen & Bakery, would taking over the old Cafe Seville location at the Shops of Seville I was excited to give it a try. I stopped by this past Saturday and gladly it was open for business and I was not disappointed. The decor and seating has been upgraded, giving it a warm, french cafe feel. The bakery items immediately catch the eye and the simple, fair priced, breakfast menu is filled with items that sound very tasty. It tried the frittata, which was light and fluffy and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. Can't wait to try lunch! Next time your looking for a good meal in the South Tulsa area, stop by Levain Kitchen & Bakery. You'll be happy you did.

I may have never had a better first impression at a restaurant! Every aspect was on point with super delicious food, friendly and professional service, and a venue that is charming and comfortable. The short rib sandwich was remarkably good, and probably one of the best I have ever had, with loads of flavor, the right amount of seasoning, and an in-house baguette that really held everything together. They offer an all-week brunch (cinnamon rolls are weekends only) as well as a dinner service that I will be keen to check out ASAP. All told, if you are looking for a truly quality dining experience, for a great price, with a notable focus on the food itself, then you owe yourself a trip here!

My wife and I have to been to Levain several times and each time we had a great experience. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly without being overbearing. The atmosphere is relaxed but with an air of sophistication. It's a welcome change from chain restaurants and fast food. Try the Panzanella salad!

We found Levain shortly after moving to Bixby and have been frequenting this restaurant ever since. We love their brunch. Their frittata and omelets are delicious and my husband likes the breakfast sandwich. The potatoes that they serve on the side are good but I try not to eat potatoes so I would prefer better options. Even in the spring and summer, the fruit they served was only cantaloupe and pineapple. Melons make sense during the fall and winter months but not during the spring and summer. As of a few weeks ago, the fruit option is still melon and pineapple. We have eaten dinner here as well. It was quite a while ago so I can't remember what we had but I do remember it was good.
