So this year it was just my Mother and I for Thanksgiving dinner this year, so we decided to get meals from Black Bear Dinner.
I ordered on line Monday, we each got a turkey dinner and a ham dinner, we will get 4 meals each out of this. The food was wonderful, we both were and still are the next day very happy.
I ordered in advance, we went to eat breakfast before picking up our dinner, the service was great, Monty did very well, we never saw the bottom of our coffee cup or needed anything but just a minute since he was getting it before asked. Great Job. Great Food. Large portions. You will leave FULL. Large variety of menu items. Highly recommend.

I've been here a few times, mostly for breakfast, when I've been in Tulsa for a VA appointment. On this particular visit, I decided to get their 2x2x2 with the French Toast (which I've never had before), along with 2 eggs and bacon. The French toast was delicious and my eggs were cooked perfectly. The bacon was thick and tasty. The server kept my coffee cup filled and was friendly. I like their breakfast, but I'll have to come back, some time, and check out their lunch/dinner menu.

Food wasn’t bad. Tri tip was over cooked. Fries were very plain. But in all not a bad meal. However Lacie our server was great. She was attentive, quick with everything especially with my all you can eat fish. She was great with our girls to even got them ice cream has part of there meal which we did not know about. Very good employee.

Food was great! Only complaint I have was my hash browns were cooked to an actual crisp. They were like chips! Other than that, everything was great.

The food was prepared when we ordered it, and it came to the table hot! Hot food is hard to get these days but not at the Black Bear Diner. We had burger dinners. I had the Parmesan Burger. It was wonderful and it came to me hot. I had the chocolate cream pie for dessert. It was very fresh. I think it was made that day. It had a chocolate cookie crust on the sides. It would have been even better if the crust had been on the bottom too.
A few days later we went back for breakfast. We had the "Grizz!" and the "Sweet Cream Waffle." The eggs and meat came hot. Most of the restaurants we go to serve their food luke-warm at best. Black Bear Diner knows how to serve food HOT!
I did not care for the taste of the waffle of the pancakes. They were thick and sweet before any syrup was added. Well made and hot, but not for me. The waffles were more cake-like and pancakey than waffley. However the rest of the breakfast was very good. We will be back to try another breakfast dish.
They also have a little gift area where you can buy their adorable stuffed bears.

It was my first time in Tulsa, OK and I just needed a breakfast spot that was near Transformation Church. I am really happy that I chose Black Bear Diner. I was met with warm welcomes, the service was done in a timely manner, the quality and quantity of food exceeded expectations, and I left with a big smile on my face.
I highly recommend everyone to check this place out if they haven’t already. I saw they have a lot of locations, so I hope it’s consistent across the board. But I can vouch for this location without a doubt.
