Mangos Cuban Cafe

As a Cuban-American who adores authentic Cuban food and is new to the state of Oklahoma, I was proud to have found a Cuban restaurant near me as there are little to none here. Mangos Cuban Cafe is a lovely little place in Tulsa with delicious food, great customer service, and amazing vibes. I absolutely love the decorations inside as I am a fan of instagramming all my meals and every place I go to eat. I will definitely be going back !

Oh, where to begin? This place is phenomenal!!! I started out with the cafe con leche...perfection. If I lived close to Mangos, I would have a cup or two of it every day of my life! We ordered the papas rellena, tostones rellena and an empanada de carne for appetizers....dear lort......ALL are absolutely delicious! The wife and I both said we could have made a meal out of appetizer dishes! The wife ordered bistec pacomilla, skirt steak with grilled onions with a serving of rice in a cup shape, very tasty! I had the ropa vieja, delicious beef shredded in a stringy rope in a stew with green and red peppers and various yummy spices, served also with the cup shaped serving of rice. I LOVED it! This place is EPIC! The service was also awesome. If you need a dose of Cuban food, DEFINITELY give this place a try. Even if you don't know what you want to eat, give this place a try!

Absolutely authentic Cuban food! Best Cuban food in Tulsa Oklahoma if you're ever in this part of town make sure that you stop here and eat they cook amazing the whole entire restaurant is a vibe from Cuba they play authentic salsa they play old school mambo! It is an absolutely great little spot Tucktaway in this little plaza and it is a true gem! I had the Cuban sandwich and the pork sandwich with my partner and then we had appetizers on top of that it was so perfectly cooked I cannot describe to you how much of a flavor punch this food has I have eaten at a lot of Cuban restaurants but this by far tops them all not only do they give you the food authentically cooked flavored and displayed but they're also dressed in Hispanic shirts! Guayaberas!!! Which made me feel like home because I am from the Caribbean and being able to step in to this restaurant was like stepping in to home it was like stepping into my hometown with the music with the food with the paintings on the wall in the pictures and the colors it is the most beautiful little spot in Tulsa Oklahoma I'm a foodie this is why yelp and I cannot stress enough if you live in Tulsa Oklahoma this is the place that you need to go visit but if you're just visiting in Tulsa make sure you stop here make sure that you get the Cuban sandwich you will never in your life eat another Cuban sandwich after you've tried this one! Please keep up the amazing work please keep up the authenticity to your restaurant by far one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at!

Excellent place for lunch. Kids said it is their new favorite restaurant. For an amazing lunch, try the - Lechon Asado -this will be the best pork you've ever had. Comes with rice, beans, and fried plantains (maduros)- you won't be about to get enough of any of them.... Wife loved the Pollo a la Plancha ... Kids both loved the kids meals.... Finished our meals with a cortadito and a cafe con leche ... You'll definitely be back...

Just found this Gem of a Cuban Restaurant here just on the skirt of downtown! I got the Cuban sandwich and added beans and rice - splitting it with a friend it was more than enough for lunch! Prices are in the 10 to 15 dollar range for normal entrées and you get a generous portion of everything. The inside is immaculate and very cute/urban/well designed. One of the best bonus features I'd like to point out is THE PARKING! There is a FULL parking lot in the back of the restaurant, so you don't have to fight for a spot or walk 3 blocks. I work on the fringe of the busy areas downtown and this really makes a difference when you only have an hour to eat. Service was quick and friendly, I will definitely be coming back.
