The staff was very friendly, helpful, and willing to give me two samples (root beer float and peach cobbler - both amazing!) when I was being indecisive. Then, I was offered a third, the lavender honey, flavor. I'm an ice cream junkie, but this was seriously the best flavor ice cream I've ever had. Ever. I've been thinking about it for a full 24 hours. If you get the chance, visiting this place is a must!
I love the Boxyard. It is seriously a great, calm, and trendy place to grab a beer, check out some science stuff, and finally check out the ice cream shop on the top floor. The vegan options are legit, and I am not even vegan anymore.

Literally the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my entire life. Not even exaggerating. I’m usually not a dessert person especially with American standards of sweet level. I gave it a try multiple times at multiple places and it’s usually too sweet for me. But man this place has the best ice cream. I’ve been craving it all day after I finished my two scoops. It’s really good. Their waffle cone is a must! Makes me want to stop by to get ice cream every time I’m in Downtown area. Sooooo goood!!!!!
Rose Rock rules! Every flavor i have tried is incredible! The vegan ice cream is shockingly good and creamy. Staff is super friendly and I've never had a wait at their downtown location, however seating is quite limited.
Cute & cozy creamery in Downtown Tulsa! The ice cream flavors I tried were: Lucky Charms, Lavender Honey, Sundae in a Scoop, Banana Pudding & Stout. Each one was absolutely delicious, distinctly flavorful & very thick and creamy. The best ice cream I've ever had!
This place is so cute!! Staff was really accommodating with giving samples. They have some fun new kinds of flavors. We tried the raspberry amaretto & the thin mint. I was really impressed with the vegan thin mint ice cream. Our friends tried a couple of other flavors including the Ube. We loved them all! Definitely check this place out. They have a lot of options. Not a ton of seating there though. So keep that in mind.
All their ice cream is super creamy and delicious. Love that there’s always a couple of very unique flavors. Plus they serve affogato (espresso over ice cream), which is one of my favorite things. Their employees are always kind. And we love sitting in the window to people watch downtown while we enjoy our treats, too.
I wanted to try this place during my visit to Tulsa, so I walked several blocks from my hotel. It was totally worth it...Absolutely delicious ice cream! I got the Midnight Chocolate, the Lavender Honey, and the Rose Rock flavors...they were all great. The scoop size is very generous.
The ice cream was very good. The location was small and had limited seating. The wait wasn’t that long. What seemed to be a huge line was actually a large group eating their ice cream outside. I gave it a 4 star because some of the staff wasn’t very friendly. I feel like that would have made the experience better.
WOW a micro creamery. It's located in the heart of downtown in Tulsa AND it's open until 10pm.
The ice cream was some of the smoothest and most creamy I've ever had. The flavor was excellent.
Over all there's not much in the way of atmosphere. For a place like this you don't need much atmosphere, the ice cream is the star of the show.
My only negative for this is they could do a little better job of keeping things clean while the store is open.
So, if you're in downtown Tulsa and your sweet tooth hits ya hard just know that there's some awesome ice cream within walking distance. It's a little pricey but it's more than worth it!
Their signature rose rock flavor is my favorite. I love coming here for dessert with friends and family after an event downtown. Their prices are reasonable for top-notch ice cream. Seating is very limited, so plan accordingly.
