Review Johnny Carino's Italian Restaurant - Tulsa

I love this place and my wife loves the Italian nachos. We don't come here often but when we do we are never disappointed. Happy Hour $1 off mini apps and $2.50 margaritas.

The entree was delicious .... no, sublimely delicious! I had the Italian Roast, and it was fall-apart, melt in your mouth, deep rich flavorful! The dessert, Tiramisu, was good ... I've tasted better, which didn't stop me from eating just about the whole portion! (I just couldn't eat N.E. More!) The service was good and efficient. The table at the booth in which I sat, definitely could've done with a proper cleaning.... this detracted somewhat from my total enjoyment of my meal. Also, a note to self: next time (and there will be a next time) don't sit directly beneath a speaker!

I ordered spicy chicken and shrimp pasta. I made it a keto meal. I substituted the pasta for green beans. That saved a lot of carbs. I had exceptional customer service. I was welcomed when I walked in by Ashlynn. Darrien was my server. He was great and always kept a smile on his face. Ashley is another server that was very friendly and helpful. They all made my visit worth it. It wasn't that busy so I had no wait.... awesome.

I've passed this place dozens of times during my travels and never ONCE gave it a chance to be my choice of dining. Believe it or not, that changed with a coin flip tonight. And I'm glad to say it landed in Johnny Carino's favor. Upon first entering the establishment, you get an immediate sense of home. As if walking into your own living room, you want to immediately make yourself at home. However, just before you do that, there's your personal butler waiting for you at the door. Moments later, you're seated. Then it hits... The sound of jazz flows through the air to your ears. It's such a welcome addition to the atmosphere, you almost miss your waiter approaching your table, ready to serve you. From there, you're able to peruse the menu and notice just SO many options that each have their own appeal. As some of the options jump out, all vying for your attention, the one dish pops out and your choice is made. Now, all that's left to do is wait. If you've brought a date, this is THE PERFECT time to really dig into the place. Notice all the art on the walls... Lose yourself in the tunes playing over the air... Enjoy the comfort of the seats and overall vibe of this home you never knew you had. Finally, the food has arrived. It's time to try your dish. Take that first bite... The flavor is full and the joy is at maximum. The drink is the perfect compliment and you realize the entire experience is magnificent and complete. That was my experience. This was the first place I've been in probably EVER where EVERYTHING was good. Literally everything. If you're in the mood for Italian food and you've never made this place an option on your list, put it on there. You won't regret it.

Ordered through doordash twice. It tastes home made and it's at a great price. By far some of the greatest Italian food I've had in a while

Food was amazing and service was great!

The service, after we were seated, was great and the food was very good. It took about 10 minutes before anyone would come up and offer us a place to be seated. Since it was 1:20 and there were not many people inside the restaurant, we didn't understand that. Once we were seated and met our waiter, everything else was good. We had the family size calamari as a appetizer and it was the best I have ever had.

Fantastic! We arrived around 7:00 p.m. on a Friday night and there was a short wait. We were seated by the very helpful host and our waiter was promptly with us. Our waiter addressed the table in a manner far above our expectations! We had a delicious dinner and paired a fantastic wine with it. Will definitely return soon!

Such a great place to go. The unlimited salad and bread was delicious. I have tried three different entrees and loved them all. Prices were a little high but reasonable at dinner. The lunch menu is great! I'll skip dessert from now on though, they didn't "microwave" it long enough apparently, it came out warm on the outside but still frozen inside.

I ate at this restaurant with my partner recently. The restaurant was moderately busy, but our server got to us quickly despite a fairly full section. Other than a drink mix-up, service was fine. The food tasted good if not a tad underseasoned, we had fresh loaves of bread, and our app came out well in advance of our meal. I'd be happy to go back again in the future.

Food was good and the waiter was very capable and expedient about taking our orders. The place was completely empty so I would have assumed that the waiter would have given us her complete undivided attention but she was a little slow keeping us stocked with bread and olive oil. Then again we did devour it quite quickly. Would recommend and will go again.

We arrived at lunch on Saturday and were seated right away. The hostess brought our menus. There was angroup of 6. We thought the prices seemed rather high considering the facilities. It is nice but worn down a little. We wondered is that because the food is so good that lots are coming and it is getting worn out or is the business starting to suffer? We ordered several appetizers. Unlike our drinks the food came very quickly. The quantity and quality were excellent. Delicious! Will definitely return.q

We come here often and usually sit in the bar, but this time we were sat in the dinning room. Our server, Justin, was a little slow at the beginning but we were fine with that. What wasn’t fine is when we had to ask for more water and it took him way too long. Instead of getting our waters, which were very near empty, he went around to his other tables, talked with the chefs, and walked around. I watched him talk to his other tables making sure the food was correct and tasted great, unfortunately he didn’t feel the need to ask us if ours was. I’m not sure if it was because we are a younger couple in our mid twenties and he didn’t feel that we deserved good serve or what. I was very disappointed. The food is always great, but if we go anymore we will definitely request the bar area for better service.

Can't say I've ever regretted coming here. Only regret is not having 2 stomachs. Italian sodas and firesticks are my main staples here, but rest assured all the other food is fantastic as well. And they service is great and courteous all the times I've been. Highly recommend.

Went to dinner with a friend, both ordered the same thing, parts of the dish was cold, other parts lukewarm. Requested a “warmup”. We were both surprised to discover the guy who was being so incredibly rude and also covered us with cheese was actually the MANAGER! They remade our food and it was still cold in spots (almost like they expected a warm sauce to heat up the pasta and other ingredients). We barely ate, left without finishing our conversation because of the rude management. I had my card out ready to pay when I was treated like we were just looking for a free meal as they informed us they comped our tab. Yes, we tipped our sympathetic waiter cash. My friend may return, but I can safely say I won’t.

The gluten-free pizza and gluten-free scalopini were very good. Thank you for having gluten-free options!

Thank you for making my birthday so special last night. The service was fantastic and the food was great. The lemon rosemary chicken was perfect.

Ordered lasagna, (mine is way better!) Was very disappointed that they don't have queso any More. But our waitress was awesome.

Ordered a drink before our meal which we did not get until after our salad. One order was not right which they did correct quickly but the food was very bland with no seasoning to our taste. Won't be going back.

We went last night for my husbands birthday. He ordered their ribeye and was really looking forward to it only to have the manager come and inform us they were out of ribeyes! You would think wait staff would be informed when one of your standard menu items runs out. It’s not like it was a special or anything. Who runs out of their main menu items? Anyway he is asked to pick something else and it ended up just so-so. They didn’t even offer to Comp anything for the mistake. If it wasn’t for the good bread and dipping sauce I would have been extremely unhappy.

Went there for my birthday. We had a party of 18 so yes it was a big group but your a restaurant you should know how to serve a big group. We had absolutely horrible service. I don't think I've ever had service that bad. We had to get our own menus! We sat an hour before we even ordered our meal. It was horrible and the children were restless. I used to love Johnny Carinos but I won't go back and neither will the others that were there for my birthday. They ruined my birthday!!

Hello. I tried to send feedback to your web site but I don't think it worked. If it did and you already saw this there, then I apologize. Anyway, had lunch today with my parents and some neighbors. We all thought the food was all right, but we were all disappointed in our server named Liz. We all found her to be quite rude. I don't have an issue with that happening to me, but when you start being rude to my family and friends, that's a problem. A few months back, we had eaten here for a private party. That night, we had a nice blonde girl take care of the entire room. She did a great job and was friendly despite that being a hectic situation. I don't remember her name, but I believe she was working today in the section near the bathrooms. If you know who that is, maybe we can try to ask for her in the future. I am still willing to give you another chance. I just felt this poor service issue needed your attention. Thank you and take care.

Everyone was so friendly I had won a contest it was a party pack for 8 people and let me tell you the food was outstanding. ..I will be going back to have Dinner with my hubby .

We have enjoyed this Jonny Carino's location for several years when we have visited Tulsa. Tonight our experience was absolutely terrible. It started with small issues that could have been easily corrected. However, the manager working at this restaurant was the rudest manager I have ever encountered. She escalated the situation to unresolvable! We will NEVER patron this establishment again!

Very disgusting and I sure won't EVER go back. First of all the table was dirty and disgusting. It had ants on the table and the waitress didn't really care. She didn't even clean it up, we did. The service and food was horrible. Me and my team at work went for our team luncheon. The waitress didn't seem to enthused about serving us. She was slow and kept forgetting things. It took her forever to take our order and drinks. And took her forever to bring our food and drinks back. It took 45 minutes to get our food from the time we got there. Ridiculous! And not to mention the food was Horrible. My chicken fettuccine was very Nasty. I've never had chicken fettuccine that taste so disgusting. The noodles were hard and the so called chicken in it didn't taste like chicken AT ALL. The waitress never brought back my "all you can eat salad" like I asked for. Then the waitress got smart with my boss. The manager was called over to our table and didn't do ABSOLUTELY nothing. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.
