Leon's Smoke Shack Bbq

This is our first time in and will not be our last. We were greeted instantly by the most kind, friendly gentleman. He took our drink order showed us the menus and folks I was not prepared. The most amazing brisket dinner was placed before me with cole slaw and beans. The brisket was melt in your mouth and I added some of their sweet sauce and just perfect isn't enough to say. It doesn't stop there. They offer dessert. I chose banana pudding. It's homemade, bananas, wafers. The best consistency nothing outshines the other. On a side note, this place is so clean. Very well taken care of they show how much they care in every detail. So glad we found you!

Delicious food, great atmosphere and wonderful people. Fall off the bone ribs and perfectly smoked. The beans and the potatoe salad were wonderful. I like that the seasoning isn't to heavy and the meat was able to speak for itself. Thier hot bbq is so full of flavor but definitely has a bite. This is definitely a go to for satisfying that smoked Bbq craving.

Wow. Hit this place on a recommendation. Really glad I did! Awesome little spot. You can smell how good it is when you pull up. They were busy when I got there (which is a good thing) and snagged a spot at the bar. Asked the guy next to me his go to and he said the Slap potato. I wasn't ready... Came fully loaded. Bbq sauce was on point and I couldn't finish it. I will be back just to try again! Came back again! Might have been even better this time! For real, you need to make a trip down here!

So to my surprise, today I got an email from UberEats about a $20 promotion for my first delivery order. Since I have not ordered through UberEats, though to take advantage of this promotion and Ribs is the first thing that came to my mind. If you follow my reviews, ribs and gyros are the top two items which I love to try from different restaurants and which i have reviewed the most lol. I browsed through couple of options and found that I have not tried Leon Smoke Shack BBQ till now. Ordered the Mixed Rib Dinner from the menu where you get Ribs + Sliced Brisket(any meat) along with potato salad and beans(2 side items) and 2 sliced bread. It took 35 minutes for the order to arrive. But let me tell you, it was worth the wait. As you see in the photo, it was a lot of food where 2 people could easily eat. I was pretty much satisfied by the flavor on both ribs and sliced brisket. The hot sauce had a different kick into it. The meat was tender at the same time it was coming off the bones easily and not hard at all. Loved the food!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while but it's been tough for me to get in there with their limited open schedule. If you're wondering if you should try this place, do it. As soon as you can. I've tried lots of barbecue around Tulsa, NW Arkansas, Denver, etc. This place holds its own. This was some of the best smoked meat I've had in a LONG time.. perfect brisket, perfect pulled pork. I don't even really care for baked beans but with a name like "Them beans", how could I not try them? They were by far the best baked beans I've had.. smoky, not too sweet, fantastic flavor, and bonus meat included! Probably the best part of the experience was the staff..every single person we interacted with there was not only friendly but made us feel welcome and comfortable while engaging with us. And they were fairly busy which just goes to show their true colors that much more. Go try this place ASAP. 6 out 5 stars.

This is a great authentic BBQ place on Sheridan. It isn't trendy or fancy. It doesn't need to be. The food and the people make this place great. It's an old style diner which is perfect. I arrived at 12:30pm on Tuesday and it was just about standing room only. I sat at the counter and was quickly greeted an given a menu. I had spare ribs and brisket along with potato salad and 'them' beans. The ribs were tender and cooked perfectly. The brisket was among the best I've ever had. It was chopped instead of sliced which was a bit of a surprise but none the less wonderful. The potato salad was as expected. The beans were good but a little sweet for my taste. All in all a great meal!
