My go-to neighborhood grill (that’s not actually in my neighborhood 😉) for many years now. Been open nearly a century. Just good homestyle food at affordable prices. Clean. Friendly. Consistent. Everything you want a little coffee shop to be. Definitely worth going a little out of the way for, and taking an extra minute; as that’s what they also do when they prepare your food, and it shows. This is what Denny’s had tried unsuccessfully to capture; the quintessential small town coffee joint. Thank goodness we still have one. Do yourself a favor. Go try it if you haven’t (and order the biscuits & gravy or crunchy French Toast).

Service was meh. Food was meh. I ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich. Fries were really bland. That was the most meh tri tip I've ever had. This was one of those small town places that I never thought I'd end up at. I'm not from this area. I'm from the west SFV and I was passing through with a friend heading up north. Soon as we walked through the door we sat at the bar because there was no tables. Walking to take a seat there I could feel the stares. We were speaking Spanish the whole time there and I'm actually surprised nobody told us to leave. They certainly looked like they were wanting to tell us to leave lol. I'm guessing by other reviews that this might be the most exciting dining experience this area has to offer. I'm certainly not wanting to put this place down. But I just didn't find it good at all. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't good.

WOW! Was my impression as the food arrived at the table. Large portions and tasty. I ordered the "meat lovers" omelette with biscuits and gravy. The biscuits where totally homemade and the gravy was full of sausage goodness. The country potatoes where like OMG crispy battered (done in the style of Jack in the Box curly fries just better) on the outside soft and hot inside. The omelette was stuffed with meats and cheese and was delicious. Price was... It's not bad about $11 just about what you would pay at an IHOP/Denny's. If you're passing by, it's worth a stop... and friendly staff to boot. I'm sure you'll leave here with a full belly. As Mexican's say Panxa llena, corazón contento.

When it comes to breakfast I'm a huge fan of French Toast or Belgian Waffles 🧇 😋 and I've never seen Crunchy French Toast til now!! If you have never tried it before it's a must.

Chicken Fried Steak was on point! The potatoes were fried perfectly - done on the inside, crispy on the outside. The Breakfast Burrito was huge! Only downside was the coffee wasn't as strong as I like it.
Would definitely eat here again!
