Taco Del Mar

My burrito was amazingly small, poorly wrapped, and crazy juicy (not in a good way). The chips and Pico I received was disgusting, the Pico was clearly old. I am seriously hoping I don't have food poisoning after this visit. I've been through enough in the last 2 weeks! I dislike writing what I consider "mean" reviews but I'm hoping this will make them pay closer attention to preparation or generally do better.

Sign by door was lit “OPEN”, door was unlocked, and when I walked in, the young lady says, “we’re closed”. I checked website hours and it stated that they are open until 8pm on Thursday. Huh?? Then lock door, turn off lit open sign and state true hours on door! This has happened to me twice now. Interesting way to run a business.

Where do I begin with this review, I contemplated not even writing the review because obviously you do not know the circumstances behind the situation but I feel its only fair to share the experience that I had here. I placed on line order that was supposes to be ready for pick up at 7:08pm. I placed the online order to avoid having to wait along period of time. When I arrived at 7:07pm I told the lady behind the counter I was here for the pick up order. She looked at me and said I haven't even started on this. Mind you she never even greeted us as we entered the building. Time went on and its now 7:25 and she still had not started our order and was helping people who had just came in. I ordered my food ahead of time to avoid the wait and feel like my online order should of been ahead the people who came in after I was there who did not have online orders. I finally got my order and left at 7:48pm. Even thought my order was suppose to be ready at 7:08pm. The lady who was working there was not in a pleasant mood at all. As mentioned before she did not greet us when we arrived nor the other folks who came in. There was us and another person waiting and when another customer came in the door she literally threw her tongs down. Not professional at all. I am not sure if someone called in sick or they are short staffed or if it was close to closing time but this whole experience is not what I would want for my customer. The topper was when I got home and my order was not correct. Needless to say I will not return here.
