Heard Tucson specialty is tacos! This was a good stop. We had the Barbacoa tacos w crispy shell. Really flavorful. Also had a shredded beef which was ok but not much flavor. We had chips and guacamole and the chips were so good. Guac was nice and creamy!
When me and my average Joe entered this restaurant we were just looking for a bite but what we were served was better than either of us average Joes could have imagined. The flavors were delicious and delectable. We were impressed by how well we were treated there and us average Joes will be visiting again.
We JUST there tonight for 5 burritos and ALL 5 of us at the office were so damn happy. The carne asada was absolutely perfect, not dry, not old (definitely from today!), and the salsa is amazing. Just, go there...and get their food. Epic.
Okay, I’m a taco fiend and my tastebuds know great tacos. I’ve been to several places here in Tucson and I’ve had excellent tacos!
Taqueria El Pueblito is great also, but, a little greater!
The shredded beef was better, the taco shells a little crispier (but not over cooked!) and the salsa bar was great!
My scope of rating a restaurant is: food first, the salsa bar 2nd, the customer service, and then the establishment itself.
I already spoke about the tacos, the salsas and pickled carrots and jalapeños we’re phenomenal! Could have used a bin of cilantro, but it didn’t hurt the flavor without it. The restaurant itself, was the nicest and cleanest I’ve been to. Nice seating, indoors and out and the people working there were very friendly and helpful!
If you like tacos you should try this place out!
Everything we have tried here is amazing. Tacos, burritos, and the best quesadillas! Meat is always flavorful, and the salsa bar is FIRE! 🔥 Service is always outstanding and the restaurant environment is great for dining in.
Service is friendly. Food is always excellent and reasonably fast to come out restaurant and it's always very clean. Bathrooms are clean. Music is always at a pleasant volume.
Hands down, our favorite taqueria in Tucson! The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, service is great, salsa is so spicy and tasty. We love this place!!
Low key, this place has the best everything. Burritos, tacos, flautas, quesadillas, salsa bar al todo madre and more. I have NEVER had a bad meal here, and I have NEVER had bad service here. You HAVE to come here if you love Jalisco style Mexican food.
So El Pueblito is proof that there is a God who loves us and wants us to be happy.
This place makes LITERALLY the best tacos I’ve had in my life. You absolutely must order the al pastor. The service was always super fast too (for delivery I recommend you order directly through their website, super quick and they get all the money vs using delivery intermediaries). We were living with family in Tucson for a few months and I’d eat these tacos at least once a week. I miss them so much 💓
Worth noting too - the tacos are almost too cheap. They’re so delicious it was unexpected given they were so under priced!
good quick-service Mexican food. A little pricy ($15 for this a #12 plate with a drink) but cheaper than most sit-downs. Only problem was that the carnitas inside the burrito was a bit dry. Chicken enchilada and sides were very good.
