Came to get the 2 dog special and I wasn’t disappointed. From poppy seed buns to sport peppers with relish, tomatoes, chopped onions and celery salt - the Chicago style hot dogs did not disappoint! The meal came with a huge amount of crinkle fries that were cooked to perfection and free refills on the small beverage. All for 9 skins and tax. Hell of a deal! They had so much to choose from. I can’t wait to go back and try some more of the menu. Awesome place! Check out the Chicago memorabilia while you are there. 5 stars for a sandwich shop. Cook and counter gal were the best as well. Thanks for a great experience.

New owner, and these folks deserve an opportunity for your business. Very friendly, accommodating, with generous portions and great food quality! We got cheesesteaks, onion rings and fried zucchini. All were quite tasty, and the service was fast! The computer system is still being configured, but that's an understandable obstacle at the start. Thanks!

Wanted something different from typical fast food for a late lunch. Decided to try and could not have been happier. We ordered a Philly and a Ruben and both were big and delicious! Ordered by phone and the person who took our order described how the Ruben was made and with what ingredients and was very friendly. Arrived about 15 minutes later and they were just finishing the order up. Had the same great customer service when I picked up as well. Can't wait to try other menu items.

I absolutely love their Italian beef . Them sweet hot peppers extra wet makes the sandwich for me. Today I stopped by to get my fix and was EXTREMELY disappointed to see that they are closed and either business itself is for sale or the building not sure . But sad .
I’m confused , today 1/24 I drove by and the sign said open , people were in there and lights were on. I tried calling to inquire but it said the number couldn’t be reached . I guess their services are hit or miss. So when you get a craving have a back up plan !!!

My order arrived early. Food was hot and exactly as I ordered it. I ordered a regular drink,regular fries, and the combo Italian Reg . First, my sandwich was huge. They did not skimp on portions and it was a meal. The fries were krinkle cut fries and a regular order. The bag was big and fries were hot and overflowing. The order came with ketchup and and I ordered my juice/sauce for sandwich on the side. My order was above and beyond. The food arrived hot,fresh and was very delicious. 5 stars all the way. I will recomend this place for great food and service.

First time since the new owners took over from the other new owners and it was just great. If there is a better or bigger Italian beef in this city I would like to know where it is. Onion rings were also great, and that was enough for two meals

Changing this to a positive review. Kenney D's has been remodeled and was nice and clean. I got the usual Jr. Beef with hot peppers and a side of the fries. I was pretty happy that it looks like things are back to normal. My only complaint is that the paper bags for take out are pretty thin and my sandwich and fries hit the pavement as they exited from that bag pretty quickly. I still ate it, i'm sure my driveway is cleaner than most fast food kitchens anyway. Good on you all, thanks for listening. ALSO! The staff was great. I will return for sure.

I haven't had a Chicago style Italian roast beef this good since I left Chicago. I will now be going here regularly! The meat was perfect and plenty. Well seasoned, but not over seasoned or over salty. They even had the right roll. The kind like back home, gluteny enough to hold the extra juice (wet) without falling apart. I'm in heaven!

My family and I had the best experience here tonight. We met the very welcoming, Christian and billy. The food is on point! We got our Ruben and italian beef sandwich in under 8 minutes. Amazing flavor and huge for the price! Staff is very friendly and helpful in making your decision. Christian even gave my son quarters for M&ms! Will def be back! Thanks guys!

Went there for the first time today and will not be going back. The interior was so dirty and run down. It was dreadfully hot, the cook was sweating like crazy, not wearing gloves while preparing the food and the woman at the counter was extremely rude. The food was adequate at best.

The frys and burgers are way better than 5 guys. I love the food and the staff was great I was there Thursday (8/31) night and was treated like i was family. My daughter and neice loved there food as well. Thank you for the great food and great experience.

The gyro is average in size but huge in flavor! The spaghetti western burger looks a little unusual, but the pastrami and burger combination with the onion rings works! Price can be on the high side, but so far has been worth every penny on our first visit. On the cozy side but just adds to the neighborhood ambiance. Will definitely be back!

Really rude female that answers the phone and claims to be the manager. The onion rings aren't the same lucious, tasty ones they used to have. These SUCKED and we tossed them in the garbage. Yes, they were that bad. Didn't have the smooth tempura style batter but were like a panko breading. DON'T GET THEM. Called to complain and the bitchy manager said they haven't changed them in 3 years. I. Don't. Think. So. No offer for compensation. Won't return unless the owner reaches out to me.

As a Tucson foodie who can spell relatively well, I love Kenny D's!! The fries are crinkle- cut and really good - crispy outside, soft inside! the Italian beef is really where it's at, thought - sweet and hot peppers w/ provolone!! OMG, half is more than enough, but sooooo good!! If you have any issues, just talk to them, don't be a douche. They make everything right!!! Great Place, great service, even 15 minutes until closing - KG's ROCKS!!!

Goof food / front counter staff need to lose the attitude. Been eating here for years. Best Tuna sub in town. Only problem are the down-right rude people that take your order at the counter or on the phone. What is with the snide remarks and snarky questions? If you don't like what you do, here's an idea, change jobs!

*****Good deli...FOUND!. Ok...love a Ruben? THIS place makes it..request they cut it or you get a big handful! Tons of meat, good amount of sauerkraut and dressing..it's really grilled...not on toasted bread...Very fair prices. The onion rings are really good too. You can call ahead and pick-up lunch through the little drive-thru. Nice people...always nice to this woman of a "certain age". I would definitely recommend this deli.

It's home!. If you like Italian beef, if you like good fries, you can't beat Kenney D's! It makes me feel like I'm back home in Chicago. If you need the ambiance of the better Italian Beef joints in Chicago (not fancy, a solid place to eat, decor featuring the better sports teams), it is your place. Go!!

So glad I found this place on 22nd St. An ex-Chicagoan myself.<br/>Beef Combo sandwich was superb every time I had one.<br/>1/2 # hamburger was perfectly cooked and juicy, not dry. Very decent bun. Highly recommend them. Fried Mushrooms! Fries and Onion rings were perfectly done every time, too.<br/>The counter help has always been great to deal with. It's a small place with drive up service. Dining area is kept clean. <br/>If you love a GOOD Italian Beef sandwich, Chicago style, this is a place you need to give a try.<br/><br/>I have patronized this store MANY times without a single issue in food quality at all. And I have NO affiliation with this place other then a very content customer!!!!

Comforts cravings. Kenney's is the best place to go for all those cravings that are so bad for us but taste so good! They make the best fries and onion rings! the Chicago dogs are to die for! I love them but only get them now and then because they are addicting! My husband loves their red sauce on the meatball grinders and our daughter actually craves their turkey subs (meat, cheese and mayo only!).<br/>Ken and Kate are just the best and are so supportive of the school in our district and we just love them in return!

Completely inedible. Unfortunately this food could not be consumed by myself or my husband. My husband chose the Kenney D Burger. The bread was soggy, the onions undercooked and the meat did not taste good, he ate about 3 bites. I selected the house special, the Italian Beef. Wow...this was awful! The meat tasted like it had been (over)cooked in a crock pot!? It was a soggy mess and made the bread completely we. The veggies included were undercooked and the entire thing was just a total sloppy mess. I took 2 bites and threw it away. The only redeeming edible food were the fries. They were thick cut fries and were pretty good thankfully as that was all we could eat of the entire meal.

Chicago Never Looked So BAD. Kenny D’s 1 & 2 are both BAD for YOU! Service is bad. Sandwiches are bad. Prices<br/>are bad. Atmosphere is way bad. Why would Kenny open #2, when # 1 needs a total makeover? I miss the Sonic that used to be at the #2. There is never anybody at the # 2. I wonder why? Kenny, Chicago wants you back home.

New Location - BIG disappointment!. I tried the Kenney D's at Pantano and Wrightstown and I have to say I was extremely disappointed by the food, service, and lack of hygiene. I ordered my sandwich and the descriptions do not match whats given to you. I was served a sandwich that had italian dressing, mayonaise, and mustard slathered on. The description given said only italian dressing. Unfortunately for me, I just spent $7 on a sandwich that went directly into the trash. Additionally, we ordered the Italian beef Sandwich with hot slaw which was down right terrible. Dry beef, raw hard and unseasoned spicy slaw. It was really terrible. Lukes Italian Beef is to die for.. so juicy and delicious. This was a disaster. Their fries... oh, how I had such high hopes for their fries. Luke's has AMAZING fries and I was hoping these would be similar. They had no taste whatsoever. You would honestly do better with store bought fries - not only would you get a better tasting side, but you'd save yourself some money. Lastly, but perhaps the most important - hygiene. After I ordered, I watched an employee come in from his smoking break only to walk directly to the food station to start preparing sandwiches. I will never be going back to Kenney D's and I will be sticking to Luke's from now on. I learned my lesson!

Kenney D's and Luke’s is the best Beef on the Planet. Being from Chicago and growing up with Luke’s it is so nice to have them in Tucson and Phoenix. When people ask if I miss Chicago I say I miss the 4 F's my Family, my Friends, the Food and the Flights, other than that I do not miss a thing. Plus Luke and Kenney are my friends and I hope they stay in business for a long, long time and pass it on to the next generation.

Amazing italian beef. I'm no expert on Italian Beef sandwiches, in fact this was my first time ever having one. But I walked away amazed at the flavor. make sure to grab a stack of napkins you are going to need them for all the wonderful joice flowing out of this sandwich. And I would highly recommend getting the hot peppers it only enhances the flavor and experience.

Authentic Chicago sandwich!. Born & raised in Chicage, I thought that I was back there when we walked in. It smelled and looked just right. I had a combo, dipped, sweet & hot; my wife had the beef. We were in heaven-haven't had this in years. Excellent! We live down I10 in New Mexico & can't wait 'til the next time we visit Tucson in a few weeks.
