Papa Locos

I have visited this location for lunch and dinner on different occasions. This is a hole in the wall establishment. The environment is clean, the staff, friendly and accommodating. There is the standard 3x2 salsa bar with various flavors of salsa, lime, and grilled onion/jalapeños. Although there are a number of food items that are staples to most Latin style restaurants in the area, one of the more unique offerings is the Chile Relleno Burger. The Chile Relleno Burger is one of the greatest things I’ve ever tasted. Although, I wouldn’t recommend having this every day of the week due to the heaviness of it, it’s a medley of flavors. The chile relleno has a tempura style flavor cheese filling and crunchy texture, with the burger itself made with quality meat you can taste. It is garnished with a mild salsa more akin to a chicken marinara style flavor. The fries are thin cut and perfectly seasoned. If I could give this place 6 stars just for this menu item, I would. Hours: Monday: Closed Tuesday-Saturday: 10am-9pm Sunday: 10am-7pm

The salsa verde keeps me coming back, along with the enchilocos. My family and I love this place. Good Mexican food and hamburgers for very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is nicer at their location on Broadway, but there's a more authentic feel to the experience at the Rita Ranch location, where the restaurant shares the building with a service station and barber shop. I just love this place. The best shredded beef tacos plate I have ever has. Excellent rice and creamy beans. And all have their own a Flavor so really a great meal. The burgers are also perfect. Papa Locks has yummy fries too. Why go elsewhere when everything on the menu is awesome. Talk to Daniel. A master chef. All ingredients are hand picked and everything is made fresh daily.
