Nypd Pizza

Pretty decent thin crust pizza at reasonable prices. Definitely the best pizza on the east side. Recommend. Note on my ratings:  1 star, unacceptable.  2-3 stars, acceptable, but average, you could do better.  4 stars, above average quality, service and/or value.  5 stars, reserved for outstanding quality, value and service.

I've never been here before but had been meaning to try it for a while. I had about 15 minutes to wait for my ride and was just looking for couple quick slices to take home. Rose at the counter was absolutely wonderful! She made excellent recommendations and knew my time was limited and made sure I had everything in plenty of time. The slices are enormous and we're by far the best pizza I've had in Tucson since I moved here. I highly recommend them and I hope managers know that they have a real gem in Rose as an employee, any restaurant I've ever worked for would be very lucky to have such a great employee working for them! Thanks so much for a great experience all around!

NYPD Pizza is my pizza paradise! First off, their pizza slices are HUGE – like, fold-it-in-half kinda big. It's a beautiful thing. But what's even better is their Big Slice and salad combo. You get that massive slice of pizza and a fresh salad that hits the spot. It's a winning combo for sure. Plus, the vibe in there is chill, and most of the folks are friendly. If you're looking for a satisfying pizza fix, this is your spot! 🍕😋

First time for me with a party of 7 dining at location. Food was very good, however the service was very slow. The employees were friendly, but very disorganized. Everyone received their food about 4 minutes or so apart, so that was a little awkward, and after we were done eating, some of us wanted a box to bring home the rest of our food, and what was very shocking to us all is we had to ask the staff 3 times to give us boxes. Most likely they were short staffed, and they apologized, so with that I'll be going back, because the food made up for it. 😊

came in with my mother as a dinner treat great pizza we ordered the jumbo slices might as well be labeled as a slice the size of a standard pizza very good and well worth the price. the place is very clean and has a good atmosphere and nice staff. this is our new treat spot and will be coming back on the regular highly recommend.

Better than average pizza joint on the East side. Don't know how authentic New York style it is, but it was a pretty decent pie, definitely better than anything else I've had on the east side. Nice crust, decent amount of toppings and cheese. Place also has a pretty nice selection of beers on tap. They also have pizza by the slice over the lunch hour. Recommended. I'd definitely go there again.

The reason I couldn't give 5 stars was. When I do take out they offer you a cup of water. I would rather be offered nothing or a soda. A cup of water just comes off as cheap. Especially for the price of the food. Second reason is when we dined in. Once they brought our food. We never saw them again. The upside is you are able to get your own refills. But tipping 20% for no service is tough. We still do but may start doing less if it continues this way. The positive is the food is delicious. We have liked everything we've had so far. The food we give 5 stars. Looking forward to trying more items.
