How does the saying go? Don't judge a Subway by its cover?
I'm always driving past this particular Subway yet reluctant to actually walk in and place in order. Not because it's Subway, I've always liked this restaurant. No it was this particular Subway I'd avoid for a couple reasons. First, the reviews on Yelp and elsewhere made this Subway specifically it sound very unprofessional and unappealing. Second, the idea that being open until 3am always made me wonder if quality was sacrificed due to the convenience. All speculation of course, and none of it could be more misleading.
Finally, I've given this place a shot and it was a good thing I did. Because now I can say with confidence this is one of the best Subways I've been to here in Tucson. The appearance is nothing spectacular, it's simple yet clean. But it is the staff that make this place work and make you come around again and again.
There are a few employees I have yet to meet, but the 2 I continue to run into are Tommy and Joey. Young guys with a great attitude and willingness to do the best that they can to make a customer feel welcome comfortable within their restaurant. Many times I've run into employees that give the impression of inconvenience when adding veggies to your sandwich. These guys are sincere and clearly enjoy what they do and anyone paying attention is able to pick up on this quickly. Great job guys, you're appreciated!
I don’t remember his name i think its kenan but hes so amazing and helpful. We went in at like 1am and this poor kid was struggling so hard all by himself but even when a line formed in the store he kept his cool and handled it like a pro. Personally i think they’re way understaffed but he didn’t let that stop him. He’s a good worker and i hope he gets the appreciation he deserves.
Very pleasant staff... even with me showing up 30 min before closing time! Everything was still fresh and well prepared. Thank you!
We are moving and have been to this location twice in a row. Very friendly service, store is clean, and food is consistently good.

I was just at the Speedway/Craycroft location My best friend and I had THE BEST customer service experience that we've had at any Subway, ever. The crew was professional, courteous, friendly and kind. Tommy, Ella and Britany are a fantastic, capable, and personable. Ella was on break and was still helpful, engaging and genuinely sweet. Tommy was a wiz at making fantastic sandwiches for us, taking his time (efficiently) to make sure that our food was exactly how we wanted it. While Britany was helping other patrons, she still was helpful, nice and joined in on making our experience really great. It was fun to be there and we will definitely be back. You have a great crew. It was a fantastic vibe. Thank you 😊

I just came in and got a 6inch turkey 12/8/2022 at about 10:30 P M. Still the best Subway in Tucson! The gentlemen working were very friendly, quick, and that was the best sandwich I have ever had from Subway. Thanks guys!
This Subway stood out for it's cleanliness and the quality of it's food. We visited on 11:15 on 10/27/21 and we're pleasantly surprised by the top tier service. A young man and woman worked well behind the counter as they not only handled our orders but appeared to restock and remake the bread and cookies at the same time. They were quick to replace any missing ingredients (there were few) and the veggies looked well prepared. Everything tasted fresh as well. Overall the service was the winner here and the reason this particular Subway deserves 5 stars.
Believe it or not I wrote the above review and didn't submit it, only to come back to leave a second 5 star review. We visited at 9:27 on 4/7/22 and the service was great. The food was also well prepared and everything looked very clean. The two guys working behind the counter were personable and friendly. Best Subway in Tucson.
Great place! And wonderful Employees! However, I can only award 4 stars after measuring my "Footlong" Sandwich and discovering it was merely 10.4 inches long!
