Great experience... yes it may appear as you walk in you should RUN!! But that means it’s a great dive bar. Amanda the bartender is great. The pool table works! And the pictures on the wall are a great reason of why everyone should stop by and talk to “God”. - selection is minimal & cash only. But if you bring the people it’s a great place to hang!

Absolutely one of the "must see" bars in Tucson. Jim aka "God" has one of the best life stories I have ever heard. Ask for the "tour" and Jim will walk you through the bar telling stories and giving you a glimpse in the "historical monument". This bar is a favorite stop every time I visit Tucson. Definitely check it out :)

The best dive bar in Tucson !!! Eclectic , unusual and just totally original in every single way . Don't expect a huge variety of offerings but expect to be surprised by just how " free to be" the place makes you feel . The owner is one of the true gems of the bar world .

Very unique neighborhood bar. It's not fancy and there aren't any frills. CASH ONLY. Shorts and tank tops are just fine. The drinks are great and always cold. The prices are cheap, the bartenders are funny and the owner is awesome. Ask for a tour and play a game of ping pong on the patio. Oh, and be sure to sit on the throne.

This place is historically a dive bar extraordinaire. The owner changed his name to God...ask for him he will give you a tour and explain some of the history of the area. It's worth stopping by for the tour and a beer but make sure to bring some dollars...they only accept cash. Oh and if ya like tuna God actually makes a yummy tuna melt...go figure.

By far the best dive bar in Tucson. I'm not a big fan of 4th Ave or the crowds that come with that territory. If you're looking for a great locally owned bar that has major history go to the Meet Rack. I'm branded (3 times even tho discount only requires 1) for half off drinks for life. The owner "God" (Jim) is by far the best and most interesting bar owner I've ever met, his stories are AMAZING! If you go you must ask him for a tour! So if your looking for a great bar that is extremely fun, can get wild and crazy, and your not a big fan of drinking with a bunch of UofA frat boys then the Meet Rack is your answer!
