Turkey grinder combo was just over $16 and turned my whole day around. Subway down the block is charging about $21 for that same combo meal and I don’t know why you would ever pick that jawn over Philly’s Finest. 10/10 food and service.
This is the place that fills the soul and keeps on giving. I get the #1 combo. Beef philly with everything on it, fries, ranch, and mango tea (it comes with a delicious cookie). The food always comes out in a to-go style, but you are welcome to eat there. Always amazing service, the people there are magicians at what they do. They have been feeding me for years, and they have not disappointed. Ever.
The food was expensive and not really impressive. The bigger cheese steak sandwich was alright but not really flavorful. I ordered jalapenos on my sandwich and was charged for them but hardly found any of them in the sandwich. The guy had an attitude when I asked him about it. The other guy was then helpful after noticing the first guys attitude. My food was $21. Probably won't be going back. Wasn't worth it.
I had a chicken cheesesteak. It was the 1st time trying it from here. It was sooo good. I'm marking down as it would be nice to go into restaurants and have cleaner tables. I'm a germaphobe so my standards are high but at the same time I think clean tables, chairs isn't a reach. Service was very good. The girl at the counter was friendly.
Philly's Finest has been a favorite spot for my mom and I for years. It's a place we can go to have a sandwich, relax and know that the food will be consistently good. It's a nice spot!
The ranch is absolutely amazing and the fries are always great, served hot. The sandwiches here really are big, so you shouldn't be leaving hungry. (I've included a cross-section picture to show it.) You also get a cookie with your meal, and the drink refills are free.
I think low reviews may come from people having different standards for how they like their sandwiches. Everybody has different tastes, but for me, I just feel Philly's Finest does a really good job. If you haven't tried it, you should! Understand they have a wide variety of available sandwiches, just because you don't like one doesn't mean you won't like another.
One of my absolute favorites here is the Buffalo Chicken, which is amazing, but I generally just stick to the #3 Italian Combo. The pulled pork is also great.
I learned a long time ago that if a place offers a double meat/cheese option on their menu, order that or you'll be disappointed. had I ordered the regular cheese steak sandwich I probably would have been twisted. I opted out of the sauteed onions, put the pickles & tomatoes on the side(don't belong anyway). cheese steaks are measured in flavor and girth. flavor was wonderful, could've eaten more, hence the girth issue.i ordered onion rings, total bummer, factory made and frozen version, undercooked and greasy, RC cola was a nice surprise. if they would build their own sides, get portions at a proper level, the place wouldn't be empty at lunch time. $25. for 1 is a lot!!
The only thing that I have to complain about is that for the 12.00 sandwich there should be more meat and hot peppers. Don't get me wrong it was very tasty but needed more meat.
Decent selection of food but it was worth it. Got a Philly Cheese steak and it was delicious. Staff was friendly and quick to bring out our food. There's also a free cookie with every meal, so that's hard to beat!
I'm a big fan of Frankie's cheesesteaks... but now I'm big fan of Philly's!! Amazing food, and their ranch is delicious. I love the local feel, just hate the parking lot however it's close to Bookman's so you can do both!
This place has to be my new favorite cheesesteak place after another business in town closed it’s doors. I see why it’s a favorite. They do have a cheesesteak special where you can get fries and a drink for $16 after taxes which is pretty good for prices nowadays and the size of the cheesesteak you get they even offer you a ranch cup if you like at no charge. I ordered a normal cheesesteak with American pickles and tomato and it was phenomenal. I had extras to bring home for lunch. The french fries are crispy along with the ranch sauce for dipping. You can’t beat the price… will definitely be returning.
