Sometimes a food cart on the side of the road is exactly what you need. And especially when you are going for a sinaloense hot dog (similar to Sonoran style)
The bun had a nice buttery toast with a nice balance of toppings that made it hard to stop with one. Extra toppings available at the side table, don’t forget the toppings IN the cooler too!
Great price and great dogs. Seems like it's getting harder to find sonoran dog stands like this. Was on a work trip in Tucson and stumbled across this one. Glad I did! They were quick friendly and very professional and the dogs were awesome
I’ve been an adult with a bank account for going on 5 years now and I don’t think I remember having any other favorite Sonoran dog serving food cart.
While I have dared to try others I always come back here. Everything is portioned so swell on the Sonoran dog, I never feel like they skimp out on the toppings.
This place is absolutely incredible. While there are many excellent places to get a Sonoran dog in Tucson, this is by far my favorite. Add to that its late hours, and friendly vibes, and it becomes easy to return here time and time again.
Local Sonora Hotdog stand, highly recommended to try with everything. Cash and card both available, and a range of cold drinks. Well worth the detour if your in Tucson!
Oh man, this place is amazing! My boyfriend wanted to stop here after seeing the reviews of their Sonoran hot dog online. He had traditional Sonoran dogs while I had the vegetarian dog, and I have to say, even though it was a store bought veggie dog, the bun and the toppings blew me away! So yummy! I highly recommend stopping at this place if you find yourself in Tucson.
The bread they use is amazing. The beans and bacon wrapped hotdogs with the added salsa and the typical condiments put this glizzy to the top. If you come to Tucson and in the mood for hotdogs, this is the place to go. The location looks a bit sketchy but those are always the best places.
It was busy when we were there. No bacon on the dog, and it could have used more beans. Nice grill flavor. I will go again, after I try a few more.
Great covered picnic area and lots of parking.
I wouldn’t call this the best hot dogs in Tucson. I notice the bacon being burn and the horchata drink was mostly water. The customer service was exceptional yet the sonoran hot dog wasn’t my favorite, yet I will probability return and encourage others to try it.

When we were first told about this place, originally we were like “how different can a hot dog be??”
WORTH IT.
Every bite was filled with so much flavor. From the tomatoes, to the sauce and even the bun. It was very tasty.
The gentleman working the stand were very friendly. There is plenty of parking in a dirt lot. Six covered picnic tables to sit at. Drinks, refreshments and chips are also offered.
We paid $4 per dog and spent about :30 minutes here. The line moved quick.
I saw a card reader but they prefer cash.
Would recommend anyone to stop by and try it out!
