Their food trucks comes by my place of employment. I miss them now that I am retired. The machaca and beans are the best in town. Better than the "authentico" places on 4th Ave.
We ordered a chicken taco plate to go late in the evening. It was delicious! The tacos were stuffed very full with shredded chicken that was seasoned just right. Great food! We enjoyed our chicken enchiladas and cheese enchiladas along with tasty guacamole! The salsa bar went from mild to hot. The refried beans were the best! Go and give this place a try.
Some of the best chili relleno’s I’ve had in a long time. Very fresh and flavorful. The beans and rice are really good. Service was friendly, and the place was clean.
Amazing food! I've been going to their location on Nogales Highway for about a year and decided to check out the restaurant. I requested a Machaca Chimichanga (which is not on the menu) and it was amazing! The staff was also very friendly. Definitely coming again!
A very simple looking restaurant, but the food is good. The quesadilla with carne asada and frijoles was quite good. They offer real lemonade (not from concentrate). I haven't tried their hot dogs but I've heard good things about them.
An amazing taco place that has been around for 44 years! The tacos and vichis(jugo) are so good! Friendly service and super quick. Enjoyed a nice cold one while the rain passed by, ok maybe two. 🍺 You vote with your dollars, be sure to vote for small businesses to thrive. Enjoy the tacos de birria!
Carne Asada tacos are ALWAYS on point! I have been going here since I was in high school. The service is excellent and they always make sure you are taken care of. Definitely recommend this place to eat at
Great place for comfort food
On 12th Avenue across from Pueblo High School you will find El Gorrion Restaurant.
You can either enjoy your meal outside on their patio or inside where you will find a spotlessly clean dining room with many comfortable self seat tables.
On this visit we ordered their #1 and 3 tacos.

Friendly and quick service. Food was fresh and well-seasoned. Portions were not too large but the quality was good.
I have been going to El Gorrion since it was a food truck on 12th and Drexel. The food hasn't changed. It is the best Carne asada in town and the birria is amazing. Drink specials and shrimp cocktails are always good. I just wish they'd bring back $.50 oysters...
Friendly staff, good food. We had tacos and tortas w fries & 2 Mexican cokes. Fresh salsas, yum!
