Great atmosphere. Sunday evening at 4pm, calm and cozy. Had dinner from Jaimes Pizza (definitely recommended also), right next door who they partner with.

My husband and I stopped in while on a road trip to visit some friends in the area. While they were working, we decided to explore the local area and found this place. We ordered the Duo of Dips to share and I got a French 75 cocktail. The food was good and the drink was delicious. If you're in the area, I would for sure check out this place. If you are like my husband and I, we love to hop around and try many local places, but if you stay for more food, you can't go wrong.

Heard about it... Put it on the list... But this was our first visit to Good Oak Bar. WOWZA! These bartenders know how to mix a cocktail. And tell the story behind it. Want proof? A) Sunset Negroni and B) Old Fashioned featuring 1792 Kentucky straight Bourbon whiskey. (Parmesan Fries did not last long enough to be photographed.)

This place is wonderful. The whiskeys are amazing and the vibe is chill. It’s a speak easy sort of situation but more accessible. The staff is always fast and friendly not to mention really knowledgeable. I highly recommend going during a time where it is off peak hours and the bartenders have time to talk you through a flight. I’ve honestly learned a lot about whiskey there and the selection is always rotating.

It’s a small “hole in the wall”, but the service is good and the drinks are solid. A bit dark but a great place for 4-6 friends to come and enjoy a drink or two in a cozy booth!
