Pappy's Diner

Unassuming Diner in a strip mall usually wins me over and this one did, mostly for the friendly service by Tabitha. Friendly and welcoming, excellent service. In expanding our horizons in trying new breakfast places we popped in here one morning. Plenty of tables, some filled by what appeared to be regulars (good sign). The menu had some good 'ol breakfast favorites to choose from. We ordered the steak & eggs and the Pappy's pancake combo. My pancake combo was great... I love pancakes and Pappy makes a good one. My Hubs said his steak and eggs were fine. I was sorry we did not try the biscuits and gravy that they seem to be known for. I guess that is a reason to go back!

If you come here and don't get the large pancake, you are doing yourself a huge disservice. Their famous large pancakes can feed several hungry bears. It's fluffy inside and crisp on the outside. Come here before 8am and you get to enjoy a breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast and potatoes, all for 3$. It stands by the the saying "early bird catches the cheap worm". All in all it's a classic american dinner, with great warm hearted service and good comfort food.

I always have a lovely time at Pappy's. The menu is varried, but has all the staples of breakfast and comfort food you'd escpect from such a homey diner. The wait staff is friendly and inviting, and the food is consistently amazing. I can't speak highly enough of this place, but I can recommend you swing by and have an outstanding breakfast.
