The food was better than most mexican restaurants in the area but not the top shop. Well worth it. I gave them 5 stars because of the environment. I dislike who their decorations support but I hate the other side way more. I love the atmosphere ... they keep crazy disgusting people away.
Stopped by for lunch. I expected decent food but was not ready for what I got. By far the best carne asada burrito I have had in a long time. Fantastic flavor and additions. Grabbed a stuffed churro on the way out. Wish I was in the area way more often.
I've stopped in over the years on numerous occasions and have had zero issues with this establishment.

This place is Awesome! I had the chicken Cascadia. It was loaded with chicken & cheese. It was hot & fresh with plenty of sour cream & hot sauce & the service is Awesome as well. Highly recomend.
Sammy's is a Tucson landmark and a must visit while you're in the area. The 2# burrito, and all of the items on the lengthy burrito menu, are made fresh and taste great. The restaurant is clean and easy to find, while the staff is courteous and helpful. Drive thru is available if you want take out.
I love Sammy’s Mexican Grill! I go there pretty regularly. My favorite menu item is the veggie burrito but honestly anything you get there is amazing! Shout out to the chef Sammy for always making the most delicious food. I will definitely be returning in the future!
They have the best chili rellenos I have ever had; and I've tried them everywhere. They are crispy and flavorful. I order them with the sauce on the side. You can eat them with your hands and dip them in sauce, sour cream or both. They are delicious. I also highly recommend the chicken quesadilla

First time here and I had the ground beef burrito with beans, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole added. It was huge and tasted great. I was able to get two meals out of it.
