Today, December 10th, 2023, was our family's first time going to Upper Crust Pizza. We've been told how amazing this is, so we figured we would try it today. It was definitely not disappointing at all!! The environment, the service, and the food were outstanding! The pricing is pretty reasonable as well. I'll definitely be telling my friends and family about it and returning for sure!! Y'all gotta try the garlic knots!! (Garlic knot picture was already half eaten.. yes, it was that yummy!!) Thank you to all of the staff. Y'all did an amazing job!! Keep up the great work!!
The pepperoni Calzone was acceptable. The service was welcoming yet not professional. I got the pepperoni calzone(picture attached) and it was acceptable yet I wasn’t impressed. I noticed it was soggy at the bottom. I really like the tomato sauce. The prices are above average. They also sell beer and the restaurant is clean and organize. They do have a sign outside for a special of a slice of pizza and a 20 oz drink for 8 dollars. I will recommend this restaurant and I be returning.
Exceptional service always. I ordered a pizza slice to go, came home to find bottom burned. I called and they were courteoys, professional, gave me credit to replace slice. Every time I go there, the staff is warm, welcoming, friendly, super efficient.
A LARGE generous slice 🍕 of pizza is enough for 2. The pizza quality and flavor is one of the best in the city. It's also a great price.
Nice local styled pizza place that sells pizza by the slice (huge slice that is), calzones and wings. Food takes a moment to prepare because everything is made to order. Seating is available, and you can try the featured local brew and catch up on the game while you wait for your food. Most importantly, it is worth the wait!

8 bucks for a huge slice of pizza and a drink. The parking is a tad awkward. Otherwise a decent place to get a slice of pizza.
This was my first time here and I am definitely coming back. I tried this place with my boyfriend on a whim and it was amazing! We ordered a 12" pizza and garlic knots and it was enough for leftovers the next day. Staff was super friendly
This was my first time back in many many years. The thing that stayed the same was that it's best to order a whole pizza. The slices are large for $8 but it's a toss up how fresh that slice really is. When you order a whole pizza then you are getting a better quality pie. I'm not a fan of their toppings. Again, I'd suggest just sticking to the cheese pizza. You can't go wrong with that and they do that pretty close to perfect. If you're from out of town then I strongly suggest trying this place. If you're from Tucson then it's in the same 'group' of types of pizza as Brooklyn but Upper Crust is a bit thicker. The salads are huge but are great quality! I'd give them 5 stars but it's the lack of consistency of the single slices. But that won't stop me from coming back again and again.
This the best pizza place in town! We have been coming here for years and everytime we get great pizza and great service. We have never had either bad food or service. This is a locally owned business so there is no corporation to tell them to change their recipes. You just get the same great food EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. This is a must stop for pizza in mid-town Tucson.
I’ve searched Tucson for the closest thing to a NY neopolitan pie and so far this shop is my favorite. Just the right amount of sauce and wasn’t too sweet. The crust was perfect. I will make the drive across town to grab a pizza here for sure.
I've been ordering from this place for years now and I've never had a bad experience with them. The pizza varies on when you go, but it's still one of the better slices you can get in Tucson.
Customer service has always been great. The only "issue" I've ever had was a driver forgetting a cannoli and he went out of his way to go back and get it, even though it wasn't a huge issue. The next time I ordered from them, they ended up giving me an extra cannoli.
It may not be the prettiest place, in the best location, but it's ran by good people who always try their best to serve quality food. I've also seen people complaining about prices, but when you compare the quality of the pizza with a chain place, it's worth the few extra dollars personally.
