Brawley's has been a Tucson fixture for many years and we used to eat there occasionally. This was the first time we have been to the new location on East Tanque Verde, mostly because it is out of our regular travel path. One positive is that there is much more seating space in the present location.
We both had the "Build Your Custom Burger". This is a third pound patty with a choice of any two toppings and a side for $7.25. Diane had bacon and cheddar, I went with mushrooms with Swiss. We couldn't resist the onion rings, which were very much like beer batter, but as our waitress Mariana impressed upon us, not "really beer batter". They fooled us. They were very good.
Our burgers were a tad overcooked, but mine still had a little moisture, whereas Diane's was more like leather. That's why they got a lower star score.
The prices on all the menu items were very reasonable. Brawley's is a breakfast and lunch place, and I really liked the breakfast menu when they were at the old location and I will have to make the effort to try it soon. However, the breakfast menu is really large and tempted me to go for a second breakfast today.
The service is outstanding. Mariana made sure we had everything and was very friendly.
Make the effort to find Brawley's and try the breakfast menu. I might just see you there.
Great prices and food! This place has always been very tasty and very reasonably priced. The service is always on top of refilling coffee and making sure my order is completely correct. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty breakfast.
My family and I have been coming to Brawley’s since before its location switch. Delicious food, big portions and even better prices make for an overall great time. Definitely a place to check out!
Love this place. Use to live here in Tucson and went all the time. Well back in town for a quick trip and had to hit my favorite breakfast place. The food is great, staff is cool, and love the atmosphere!!!
Brawleys is always amazing! Never had a bad meal. It's one of our all time favorite breakfast spots! The staff is always so kind. We usually get seated in Lisa's section because we've been coming for so long, she recognizes us and we enjoy her! We will always be back!!
Loved the food. It came out hot and good! It costs about 10$ a person so it's a good deal for good food. The pancakes were on point! I was surprised, but I should've known b/c everyone I saw had atleast one (or signs of one lol). Other than the price, this is a nice spot for a low key deal and a good meal! The staff here is really friendly; it makes the experience just that sweeter!!!!!
Corned beef hash steak plates plenty of food for two about $40 it was pretty good place though we enjoyed it T-bone steak or their breakfast steak is off the off the hook corned beef hash crispy none better in Tucson server was awesome too
Update:
Fair enough to go back and try again. We went about a week ago and it was much better. No charge for refills on sodas, the food was very good, and our server Isabelle was really nice and helpful. They were a bit short handed and she still did her best to take care of us and her other tables. We both ordered the create your own we used to always get, and I'm glad we had gone back and tried again.

We used to LOVE Brawleys at their original location. We went to the new location a long time ago and haven't been back.
It's a shame they had to move because in our opinion it ruined it. They obviously ended up with higher rent and had to make that up in their menu. The prices went up, portions decreased and they started charging for soda refills (?!) I was in the industry for 8 years and that's just wrong. Such a shame ☹
Mrs. Lisa is the nicest of the nice. She has a great sense of humor.
The food is great and the prices are reasonable. I urge everyone to try the Mexi-Benedict. Plus she taught me something about asbestos in restaurants.
The staff were very attentive. As soon as we were seated they brought us water right away and made sure we were comfortable. The food was prepared quickly and correctly and our coffee cups literally never reached the bottom. The food was delicious! I will definitely be back for more.
