Mimi's Cafe

I love this place. I personally go for the steak/herb butter, however, my mother is more eclectic and, as such I have tasted a wonderful array of huge bountiful salads and french onion soup that is quite perfect. They serve alcohol, and the ambiance is casual I have seen every age group represented in their clientele. But, by far the service is impeccable, warm and inviting even if you were just blown in from a hurricane. We love the architecture, bayou, and the warmth.

Nice and cozy. Food was very good. Wait staff was excellent. Their is great comfort food and great homie classics. My better half had the turkey dinner. She said it was very good and would not share with me. She also had the corn chowder prior, she gave me a lil' taste, very tasty. I had the french dip sandwich with fries. Awesome! I just love their baguette bread, can't get enough. You can also have some cocktails or a nice variety of beers and soft drinks. I highly recommend Mimi's Cafe.

Glad to find Mimi's in Tucson. Loved the one in Albuquerque. Our early afternoon meals were fantastic. Salads were very fresh and the entire meal preparation spot on. Husband loved his well prepared steak and my chicken was terrific. Time from food order to table was quite good. Servers were great. Never had to ask for more water or coffee due to their observant walk arounds. We go mid week when it is less crowded but don't mind a wait for the weekend either. Very clean inside and out. Handicapped parking spaces and wheelchair friendly. Restrooms were very clean.
